what the heck

I'm thinking about joining the Azure Alliance...hmm,
anyways I whipped something up last night.

Unarmed, 3 thruster ex, 2 thrusters. 2 little red flashy's to simulate a sensor array. Currently named Acerbitas.
Any suggestions on weapon placement? Also should I tweak it to metagame standards?

I'd appreciate it if you took a screenshot at default zoom, but from what I can see it looks pretty damn good. It's got a nice shape to it.

yeah, it's much better than any of STARSTRUCK's designs ;D now you just need to arm it and all, but you should join in, it's good fun to have a purpose. aesthetically the ship's really good as well

Yea, thanks for all the praise. STARSTRUCK, I finally figured out your core design and its WONDERFUL. Also, it IS at default zoom. I hit home and everything. It was fullscreened though.

Although I have a very basic understanding of what I'll be doing, its just a game, I'm in.

Don't fullscreen when taking screenshots. It stretches and blurs the fuck out of things.

It looks nice but I have to wonder how many sections you used to create it, ships with large numbers of sections don't do well under the meta 2 rules.

The new version looks better. MUCH better. Also I got it completely fitted to meta2 standards (at least, I hope) which includes many sections that act more like Doodads. Lots of 1 hp sections.

Really. It's actually 20 now, but you're better off actually using doodads for that sort of thing.

yeah, either make them as doodads or just combine them into the parent sprite using gimp or something. that's what i'm doing on some of mine, as long as it doesn't actually change the hitbox or anything it should be alright i think
