okay that actually looks marginally worse than it was before =/ the shading has far too much contrast and breaks the coherency of the ship apart, the new thruster looks odd as it's far to bright and also needs some shading and there's a centering error on the section right in front of it, and don't even get me started on the pointlessness of a lightspeed communications transmitter on an ftl ship... (although the dish does look pretty cool, if a little oversized) what the ship really needs is some more detail down the length of it crossways. perhaps some hm superstructure sections linking the tubes together or the like

hmmm, in most cases i suppose they use the excuse of travelling through 'subspace' so they don't actually exceed the speed of light, they just traverse a shorter distance. imo the most feasible ftl idea out there is the Infinite Improbability Drive in the Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy, which just goes to show how messed up it all is xD
