Re: AAE Navy
That's not gold, man.
That's yellow.
That red is a bit too dark, but otherwise solid. The yellow is way too highly saturated. Waaay too much. Massively. Anyway, just keep practicing, working on stuff, you'll get the hang of things.

Re: AAE Navy
The ship looks fine, the colors could be better, though. I'd say that the yellow you have right now is fine, but you need to make it lighter. Preferably by reducing the saturation. Make the dark red something into a light orange. I think that a goldish-yellow and a light yellow-orange would complement it beter.

Re: AAE Navy
To do list:
Turn saturation down on "yellow". Check
Slightly increase it on the red. Check
Possibly a new ship. Unlikely.
PS: Added a little green somewhere. See if you can find it. Heres a hint. Eyes.

Re: AAE Navy
personlly id reverse the brownish gold and the lighter shade so it looks like theres a proper light source on it.

Re: AAE Navy
That's still not really gold, but I suppose it's an improvement. Also, I said make the red bits brighter, not more saturated. There's a difference, bro. Doesn't matter, though. Shape of the ship is over-all fairly solid. I personally still hate the colouring, but I'll stop bugging you about it.

Re: AAE Navy
Instead of using my school colors, try to do something more complementary, say, replace red with blue? Being an art fanatic, colors have always been a strong point of mine.
A personal touch: I think the ship would look better if you reversed it, but its up to you.

Re: AAE Navy
For the current one, turn down the saturation of the blue and make it a tad darker.
For a coloring suggestion, try dark-ish grey instead of blue and a extremely non-saturated light blue.

Re: AAE Navy
Not bad! You're getting better.
Though to be honest, I think it would look better if it were facing the other direction, and without the attachments to the back. If the back was the front, it would be much better.

Orelius wants it backwards.
Doogie wanted the other one backwards. (Which I did and modified(aka the one Orelius wants backwards))

Re: AAE Navy
I mean, it's fine as it is, but it looks like it's facing the wrong direction. It looks better backwards with the addition you made.
Re: AAE Navy
Can you extend those crab claw things out to each side and connect them with some horsemonster tubes or something? As for which way it should face, maybe giving it engines or figuring where the main weapons would be would make it look better one way.
