So I've gone back to shipbuilding. After like 6 months of lurking. I think.

I present, after at least 3 months of doing nothing, the SSGI merc-fleet.

SSGI-1 Starfried

C&C please, and I know they're not very good, but it's my start into Shiny zone.

The depth and shading on the SSGI-2 is kinda sloppy and inconsistant, with bright yellow pieces hidden under dark grey pieces in some places, and layered over light grey sections in other areas, and... it's just generally not very good, I'm sorry to say. The reloading/shield? animation likewise looks fairly awkwards and not very interesting in the slightest...

Keep in mind these golden rules for shading. Higher areas are brighter, lower areas are darker, and coloured areas all of the same shade should all roughly be around the same depth. They should certainly not be half-covered by dark grey sections.

About the shield, I'm rather sorry for mislabelling it, as it's the activation sequence, and it works very, very much faster ingame. But point noted about the shading of the ship and stuff. Thanks.
