lionm12's shipyard

Let's face it, the main attraction of BSF is building your own ships. Share them! If you need help, check the Shipmaker Info & Help forum a little ways down.

not bad, :) i really like the glows, but i think it needs more... shiplike shape, not just a triangle.

personally i think this is much better i love the detailing and colouring depthing is perfect, but it feels unfinished, it feels like a good core but now you need some larger armour panels to fill t out and give it a shape. Also the thruster at the back feels undersized for the size of the engine it feels leke their should be a large chunky thruster or it should be elongated. Other then that great work :)

old one : boring

new one : interesting

Seriously take this new ship and work with it, there are alot of good features on it, that are damaged by some bad placement for some things like the rear engine like things. Overall though it looks sorta like a Warhammer 40K necron ship.

Hnnngh this is a hard one.

You obviously know your way with those sections, and while elements of the ship look really good, they just don't fit together to form a please shape. Perhaps try expanding it to the front or to the back. I trust you could do it well.

I like it, but have you tried making the current ship the inner workings of the ship and adding 'plating' around it? I think the effect would be quite nice...
Not sure how best to explain this...

i think the gap in the middle needs to be filled, and again i don't like the horsemonster exhaust sprite their it doesn't look right, however i like the shape of it and the colouring is good,

i don't suppose i could be really cheeky and ask you to post the previous ship in the scrapheap so i can have a fiddle with it?

yes the middle is definitely missing something.
All I can suggest is a massive beam cannon of some kind, or something with lots of glowy lights and a bit of animation.
