To be fair, I really don't like these ships. Your section palette looks odd to me, and the ships themselves are fairly cluttered. The shapes don't really appeal either. On the last ship, you've mixed a darker inner structure and straight, angled sections with a lighter outer structure and curvy sections, which isn't really working in this case. My advice is, take another look at your depthing and consider a more consistent section palette.

I modified one section to make it work in the back of the Lask, what would I have to do, naming wise, if I were to make these downloadable?

I really like these new ships they use modified blasters and gatling blasters as their main weaponary.

These ships are a lot better. Decent section palette, interesting colors (maybe a bit dark, but it works),... Good job overall, though the shapes may be a bit cliché. But that's a minor nitpick.

I made another ship, or two variants (imagine two seperate companies competing for the contract building very similar designs).

The leader of the government who put out the base design was torn on what arangement would work for the Missile launchers.

so here are the arrangements...

Name: PUx-55 Ikino
Class: experimential Battlecruser

Pretty much the same shape as all of the others in this fleet.

Name: PUx-56 Hillia
Class: experimential Battlecruser

For the wings they are meant to look like a Nebulon B2 frigate from the Star Wars expanded universe.
(I was going for a wing shape similar to an Amarrian {?} Harbinger Battlecruser but I decided that it looked more like a B2 frigate.)

Both ship's main bodies are the same but they differ in the missiles and engine arrangements.

The Ikino has one more engine making it a bit faster than the Hillia but, the Hillia can reload its missile launchers a little faster due to more dedicated Missile systems.
The Hillia's warp exaust is also in the back as opposed to the pair that the Ikino's pair located in the nacelle struts making the Ikino faster in hyperspace (<---I know its overused).

comments and criticisim please!

A: I built this to comply with Kaelis's request for people to build ships with his new sprites (sorry if I scar you for life with my crappy designs, PLEASE continue making sprites because your sprites are awesome).
B: Am I using the Grunge sprites correctly?
C: It feels too front heavy what can I do to change this (minus flipping the wings back).

A: The ship's not that bad. The green seems a little dark. Try lightening it up. The engines also should probably be "contained" a little more

And in case you missed me post in Kaelis' section thread, allow me to repeat it here:

Mixing SWA sections with Shiny Sections does not work. Regular SWA sections are too flat and lacking in shading, they do not mesh properly with the new Shiny Sections. At all. Only SWA-ized DST sprites and HorseMonster's sprites can be used decently alongside shiny sections.

Also, your green is way too saturated and way too dark. The grunge effect isn't too bad, though, but I'd recommend either reducing the alpha on them a bit, or making the colour you used for them darker, so they're not quite so obvious.

hey the ships in the last two post looks very nice! the blue is my favorite colour
i love the Shimmer Class Light Cruser and the Sleet Class Battlecruser, keep working and post the DL

EDIT:I think if you use blue ion beams for the weapons would look even better in battle

I rather like the Sleet and the Icicle. Everything else ranges from ugly to decent, but those two are my favourites, I think. The Snowflake is quite nice.

Shard is fairly bland, Shimmer is fairly nasty, Radiant is awful.

@Altahir thank you, I really like blue too. The ships will probably be armed with modified pulsebeamers (or fusionbeamers, because I don't remember which one was blue in color), solely because I like the way that they look.

@Anna aww, I really liked the shimmer... *moment of silence* okay then time to mess with them. Thanks for your input (contrary to what some people think, your comments are always helpful)

Could any one see what I added to these ships on the blue parts (it's intended effect came out best on the battlecruser)?
