Delta's Random Ships Version 3.0

Let's face it, the main attraction of BSF is building your own ships. Share them! If you need help, check the Shipmaker Info & Help forum a little ways down.

Diamodal Assault Destroyer: So called because it sounds like diamond and looks like diamond. Discuss.

Well more than I can do with stock stuff. What's the green streak at the bottom might I ask? Also, great choice of colors

When viewed as a .gif its a streak of lightning, its mirrored and played in sequence, not simultaneously with the one above.

Magnitude Cruiser: Named because it has a gigantic galaxy-burning laser slapped in the middle. And it looks like a magnitude, presumably. Discuss.

Rediscovered Fraxy Sprites, became addicted to them:

C&C wanted, due to my inexperience with the use of fraxy sprites. Thanks!

I've got to agree, that's some of the best fraxy section use and blending with non-fraxy stuff that I've seen. It's also unusual to see them actually coloured, very nicely done all round. That said, I think the front light gold bit at the centre of the bottom ship could use a bit of reworking, it's too abruptly separated from the middle light gold bit.

Random ships:

-Built with the same idea Chiiro's - A ship with uniform(ish) armor plating.

- A fleet of spacesticks. I got bored of building decent ships so I comforted myself with a fleet of glowing sticks.

C&C Welcome.

The first has pretty heavy use of detailed sections so it looks kinda cluttered to me. Nice though, I'm trying to remember who it reminds me of.
The space sticks are good, though their cores might be a bit excessive. I can't really think of much to say about them except that the light section on the fourth one stands out a lot, I'd suggest changing/darkening it or something so it fits in better.

Pretty...
You just kinda discouraged me.
Edit* I just realized its because I'm only decent, at best, when it comes to coloring. We should have a shipbuilder's coalition.

Oh snap.

When I look at my ships I think "Hey, thats kinda nifty" then I see yours and abandon all hope of posting them and instead rework them like crazy. You are a darn brilliant shipbuilder, nothing much else to say.

Stop posting! Befoe I give up altogether! :P
I think the induction of "LOL" "OMG" and "<3" into the Oxford English Dictionary is a sign of the End Times. Only, instead of a rider on a pale horse, it'll be a gibberish-spewing spastic in a monster truck named "The Dildozer".

Thanks for the input, everyone. It is really appreciated. :)

@Badboy: I'm spriting an army for use in picture wars, the avatar is a factoryship which spawns minor units such as corvettes and small frigates.

EDIT: I'd be happy to contribute to any designs you throw at me, Doogie.
