I particularly like the first one! very interesting design and I wonder how well it would hold up in combat.
As for the second one, I hope its not too insulting to ask but which side is the "front" of the ship? I'm hoping its the left side, otherwise I'm not exactly sure how a propulsion system would function.
In all good job, keep up the good work!

I suggest for you to lurk a bit more, look at majicnanas's stock ships for ideas and you'll get what I'm trying to tell you and what it lacks, the 2nd one though has an interesting but conflicting shapes, points for trying.

Ah, the thrill of finding shipmaker and just pumping out whatever you create. I miss those days. Eventually, you'll discover custom sprites and maybe even want to practice enough to get yourself to making masterpieces, although that takes time (time that these forums don't really have, honestly). Look at me, It took me somewhere around four years to attain the skill I have, and even that's woefully out of practice now.
Still, I encourage you to make what you like but also take Cryo's advice and look around at what has been posted.

I think the last one you made was good i liked the details of it and also the color you'd chosen.
Re: Some ships from a new user
Few things.
First, don't tile the same section like that. Try to use as many different types and shy away from repeating sections unless you really, REALLY know what you're doing.
Second, you seem to be focused more on the shape than on the details. While this community is in its death throes, it still doesn't really appreciate shape so much as detail.
Third, I advise you to, once again, look at some of the things that other people have posted. If you're going to be using the default sections, here is a good starting point and frame of reference.

Pretty nice overall. Try making a small ship for once and lets see how that turns out.
Add me on steam @majicnanas

You could try the post above me and then expand on it, same core different designs, then incorporate what you learn to a really really new one, as in from scratch.
