JJ's Pus-Spewing Spooge-Fleet Ships

Let's face it, the main attraction of BSF is building your own ships. Share them! If you need help, check the Shipmaker Info & Help forum a little ways down.

JJ's Pus-Spewing Spooge-Fleet Ships

Post by jjmounes »

Biological theme! Just cause I like it! Remember, space bugs are going to be squishy compared to the Death Stars some of you build.

Yes I found the Zerg bits! They'll get used more! I'm sure you'll have seen this ship 100x before. But hey here you go anyway. It has 3 weasels on the front that I'm still playing with the settings on.

His front claws move, a bit out of synch to achieve a more organic style. The little dot between the mandibles that rotate the claws is the core! So you can nuke him with a few lucky shots. He has 4 thrusters, 2 pointing back and 2 forward because he does a lot of strafing and backpedaling to face his space-meat victims with his blob-spewing craw. The moving mandibles are what protect his weak spot. If you blow them off, he'd better run off or he's asking to explode in a gibbing glory.

I dub thee: Roach

i kinda like it, although it probably has a bad rotation pivot, but overall i think it needs more brownish colors as the exoskeleton

Well, I was going for Roach al-le SCII, I did bump the contrast a bit though.

It rotates pretty OK, care to explain how I would change that?

Already changed it a bunch, I shouldn't have posted it.

positioning the core at center would make it rotate perfectly
