New Shiny Sections.

Oh my, are those wide-muzzle blasters part of the new Shiny pack? I hope so, those are bloody epic!

Overall, I did like the previous Shiny ships better, but it's a good show-off for the new pack, and it whets the appetite for sure.
Mostly the front seems to lack something more substantial... As if something needs to go 'around' it... A special Mission-specific module or whatnot.
Eh, just me overthinking it, I s'pose.

This was my very and only attempt with the new sections so far. I just wanted to make up something quick and simple to show them off. I've no doubt once I've practiced with them some I can add them to my repetoire. They mesh quite well with most of the existing Shiny Sections too, but since this was my first attempt with them, I tried to stick to mostly just using the new sections. So yeah, I agree with most of your critiques. I'm gonna try some more stuff now.

And yes, those blaster-looking bits are from the new pack. Which, since Kaelis has said is pretty much finished, should be up for download soon I hope.

Well while the colored ship is...cute, I like the plainer one better because it shows how well some of the sections blend together. I think this is one of the only packs where the designer has done a good job of making the sections compatible with each other. You'll do great things with these I think. I really like that armor over internals look too.

The top one looks like some futuristic desert hover-tank. Man, I can't wait to get my hands on these.

Yeah, they would be. I might consider entering an entry to the beauty pagent once the sprites are finished.

I call it... Hestia Tau.

Mostly because I just felt like calling it something and it looks sort of Hestia-ish.

I definitely like it. It's interesting and well crafted as your ships usually are. One thing though, those bars attached at the middle of the ship by the middle guns look out of place. I can't put my finger on it, but they just don't look right.

The pink n' white one is quite clever.
How did you do that with the stripes? Lower the alpha on the pearly-white parts?
