The problem is that you can only illustrate a twitching motion when you work with a width of 1 pixels.

On a sidenote, I've found out how to increase turret animation speed (it's set to 0.5 by default), so you can get at least two frames of animation in between shots. It makes the default Vulcan's firing animation look a lot nicer. :)
