Peculiar. It does not find the variable, despite its been clearly declared and defined, and as a global, too. you're the only one who seems to be having these problems, as well. So bad news - apparently its machine specific, and theres nothing i can do about it.

Arcalane wrote:May it have something to do with the fact I was using string importing for CT's ionstreams?
Yes. Alot. I did say template strings don't work anymore.

Swamp Fox wrote:Not really anything big or crippling, I just thought I'd mention it. I was fiddling around with SM, and I have no idea how, but somehow I managed to select two sections at once.

This happened gradually while shipbuilding. The result of about an hour of work. It's nothing serious, just weird.
Im aware of that bug, or whatever that is, but i have no freaking idea what causes it and im unable to reproduce it when i want to... Also, sometimes it simply doesn't happen at all. As if it was session-specific.

I'd like to think it wouldn't break the weapons though. Oh well.

ED: Nevermind, the problem seems to have resolved itself now that I added a few more weapons. How peculiar.

You need the Max WinAPI 2.dll.

http://filesmelt.com/Filehosting2/downl ... PI%202.dll

Put it into your BSF dir.

Not sure about this one. It happens whenever I attempt to load a ship made from older versions of SMCE. It does not seem to affect the GSE ships however...
ED: Scratch that it does not affect the Erebus and the Sylph. The others do not load.

Code: Select all

You were trying to load it in BSF. Ive mentioned in the changelog that you may need to resave ships made with older versions of SMCE.

There isn't any. Swithcing the 1234 keys to group functions via tools gives the 4 key both of it's functions at the same time, ergo; switching to group 4 and opening the color dialogue.

So you're telling telling me that you can just open the shipmaker, switch 1234 keys mode to group, press 4 and it will invoke the color dialog? If thats what it is, im afraid its specific to you and i can't help you, sorry.

Oh, and opening a color dialog was never a function of 4 key.

Kaelis, the thing is I have resaved with the newest version of SMCE and yet it still doesn't work.

Did you remove all template-stringed sections and doodads?

Yes. Just to be sure, this also applies to weapons?

Uh, you can't use template-stringed sprites on weapons...

You know, i think itll be much faster if you just give me the sb4

But any ideas why it only appears on 1.705 and 1.706?
Earlier versions work fine, so does the original BSF.

Unmodified autocannons on this one ship are turning into twin autocannons when its spawned as an enemy. :?
