One small CE bug.

If one were to attach a weapon to the core, then the attached weapons will transfer over to other ship if loaded in the same SMCE window.

i.e. I make a ship with a Particle Rifle attached to it, then I open another ship. The Particle Rifle remains at the same coordinates while still remaining attached to the core of the newly loaded ship.

Using the arrows to move through shipmaker also move whatever piece you have selected. Zoom does this as well.

Yeah, i know. I couldnt figure out the math for moving/zooming the view while dragging.

Is it just me, or does cloning a weapon or part not put it on top of its parent? It always seems to be floating off screen somewhere, possibly close to the center?

The ship had a string-copied explosion doodad, sun doodads, and dooNoise section shields... not sure what else could be causing it :(.

Custom weapon colors don't apply to cloned or mirrored weapons, it seems.

@ Venator:
I checked the sb4, and its the same errors that were plaguing Darkships 900 section ship that wouldnt load. So its fixed.

For a workaround, run SM, press ctrl+o, pick that sb4. Save as some txt. Open in wordpad/ms word/something else that doesn't give just one long line of text (so NOT in windows notepad), delete all lines with doo_set_mirror, mod_set_mirror, wep_set_mirror and sec_set_mirror in which any of the arguments is -4. Also, delete all lines with sec_set_mirror in which any of the arguments are 0. Save it, and open the saved txt with shift+o in shipmaker. This should do it. There may be some duplicates when mirroring, though.

For now, its best to save unmirrored sb4s, until the new release arrives.

On the note of custom coloured weapons, I don't know if this is just me, but the custom weapon colours seem to reset whenever I open the .sb4, so I have to recolour them each time.

that is true for me as well, so I doubt it's just you. As well, some of (not all) of the weapons I custom color seem to go back to white when I open the ship up in game.

Ya, that's what I meant. You have to recolour the weapons every time or they go back to white in game. It's really annoying.

SMCE can't find my BSFCE anymore, I have to assign it manually. It may just be the name, though.

EDIT; 't was the name, fixed now.
