Repeating Artillery
Uses the same technology as the Dannycannon. Uses an autoloader to fire three shells in quick succession, and then has to fetch a new clip.

Vulcan Cannon
A gattling-style cannon that fires a stream of tungsten slugs. Needs a few shots to "spin up" to full speed, and then maintains that speed until it overheats and needs a few seconds to cool down.

Would it be possible to develop a weapon that acts like an Ori beam weapon? It's really just a bolt, but elongated, and it acts like a beam would on impact. Bolt beam, beam bolt, w/e.

Hmmm, I'm going to post up some weapons, some possible, some not, but I tried to go for original stuff...
1) Tesla Cannon: Okay, I LOVE electricity. It'd be a simple beam, only it'd look like electricity coursing from the gun to the target... However, it'd be all the more awesome if this was an actual CURVY beam, which can curve a number of degrees, this is left vague because how the curving would work isn't really popping in my mind...
2) Flamethrowers: Hell, explain it however you desire It'd come down to an expanding, translucent-ish blob... That way, you get a cone-effect, much like a flamethrower. You'd control the growth rate in the Edit menu, of course.
3) Rod Gun: Not particularly original, but come on, where's the big Tungsten darts to throw at eachother? They're fun It'd be a simple projectile, really, unless me or whomever can do something new with the idea ;3
4) Boomerang Drivers: A more curvy, rotating Driver projectile, which starts to turn back at a predetermined spot, so it might strike the enemy in the hiney. Might go all Weasel on him too by skipping over Deflectors.
5) Siege Blaster: Fires a meteorite at the target... Even more fun if it can split... Maybe make this a split missile instead? Fly towards target, split when closed in, or something...
6) Mine layer module. A module, it sets powerful mines which detonate when the enemy comes in range. Not too hard to explain, really...
7) Explosive Nano-bots: think Demeter Pod... Now, remove the Demeters and add a fine mist of small nano-bots laden with explosives... If a weapon or module fires when in this area... KABOOM! There goes the neighborhood.
8) Time Stop. Because Aegis Whores deserve to be pwned by freezing everything except the ship firing the gun... It will not do damage to sections during the period time stands still, but all damage is applied RIGHT AS TIME SPEEDS UP AGAIN... It's strong... But especially effective to bust Aegis.
9) Module idea... A shockbeamer, only on steroids. It slowly gathers energy, until you fire, which spends all energy. Every point of energy thus spent increases damage, duration and range(?) by some editable amount, as well as the width...
10) Raking wheel: a melee weapon. Starts spinning up when the enemy comes close, a glowy energy wheel forming around it which damages the enemy when touched.
11) Not so much a weapon idea as an idea for weapon behaviour: a weapon bank that can accept a number of weapons, and you can input a pattern the weapons fire in.
12) Hmmm, a decent non-ugly bubble shield would be soooo useful...
13) A smaller Vulcan cannon would also look look: they're ECKS BAWCKS HUEG right now.
14) Chaff, 'nuff said.
15) With chaff, we need a bigger homing threat, too... Injector Bombs spring to mind... They cling to the victim, sending in a lethal coctail of nanites and micro-organisms to corrode the hull and kill all biological entities inside.
16) Spiraling beams, just for the kewlness.
I'll edit this as I think of more ridiculousness...

Note the red dot in the nuke flash anim is a placeholder mark and easily removed.
I also have the zips for the png files, as well as those of a truly huge number of sprite sheetz. Needs moar filehoast!
