So, a while ago I told about making small... err... avatar... or portrait thing about every (active) faction of War for the universe thingy. I planned on doing it as sort of... card deck, each faction having one where both their specie and their most iconic space ship(s) are represented. While I am not sure yet will I do it entirely so, including the specie image, the ships I can as those are relatively easy to do.

so...

All the current (I won't do this to factions that join up after this post - would be colossal work.) factions.. or faction owners so to say, pick max 2 ships you want to be shown in the "card". And please provide image of said ship(s). I don't want to go running from thread to thread just looking for them.

Reference picture below. Do notice that I will not follow 100% accuracy when drawing. That would be painful task to do. Instead I will make quick draws, showing the most important features of the ship. Im sure everyone can tell what ship stands in the image below without reading the text, no?

For the SAR, the Maelstrom and Whirlwind are pretty much iconic.

Well, your ships will be interesting task, Calvin. There is so much itty bitty detail on them. I will certainly have to simplify them a bit, but yeah. Maelstorm and Whirlwind dat is (o. o )/.

I should fart that image out by tomorrow. Im at the same time... painfully slowly... drawing the comic. Massive depris fields are horror.

I wouldn't want to put you under too much demand R0ni but could you do mine too (I don't really mind when their done).

Heavy frigate TD10-'Salvation' is probably the most iconic because of the clear shape unique to the Novians. And I have this picture of a Novian. Sry its in black & white (skin: blue/grey, clothes: white, highlights: orange).

Minaret and Arasaw. I may try drawing a Mioran by hand soon.
Also, as to the RPG, sorry for late update. I went on an influx of dates recently; they take priority. It's still going strong.

Got some work today, buuut, I think I can draw one card later today. Image about Miora would actually be pretty neat, Doogiesama - not for this, but for the comic. Especially what sort of uniform do they have.

Anyway. Next in line is le SAR.

I knew drawing SAR ships would be hard, but this was just ridiculously hard. I tried and tried to capture Maelstorm somehow, but failed - retreated to play Skyrim then, next day tried again, failed -> Skyrim... Now I just decided not to catch accurate picture, but more like silouette. Adding planet to the background would aid this.

So.. here it is. Maelstorm. If you want Calvin, I shall make le Whirlwind separately - later. Next heading over to Novian ship.

Oh wow, that looks great R0ni! The background adds depth especially the debris. Ever thought of becoming a professional?

I dare to say that image is far from anything professional. Just a quick peek on deviantart and there are thousand better and more detailed images about spaceships than that. I draw for fun. Making it job would propably take the fun out of it.

Nice. My only complaint is that you can't see the triangular shape from that angle.

Well, comic took my drawing time, so nowhere from Maelstorm. I have not started anything yet - comic vise or this thing. Should I draw one more page of le comic, or do the card?
