I'm judging it by area of the triangle. While the gargoyle´s radius is larger the actual area is only slightly larger than the Tempest. Same goes for the others. Mior triangles are longer and thinner. Although yes, the minaret is large for a destroyer.

My scaling follows roughly that of ME and modern day navy and few other games I have played, but for example in Freespace, cruisers are the smallest of capital ships and destroyers are the big ones. But anyway, thank you for correcting.

My scaling goes as following.

0-25m = Fighter / bomber craft (includes gunships)
25-60m = Patrol craft / frigates
60-100m = Destroyers.
100-200m = Light / med / hvy cruiser. (Carriers are defined simply by ability to launch fighters)
200-300m = Drednaughts / battlecruisers / Battleships.
300+ = Juggernaughts / Forgery ships / forest ships / Battlestars.

I will be releasing new page today. Flat colors done. Now just need to push through the detail that is quite horrid task with so much depris.. Mruh!

if only we could change the drone sprite though
then we won't have to worry about using platform fabricator, but i guess controling fighters is more better than not.

Hmm. One thing you could do is make "Beauty shots" of individual ships, and shove them into the Sci-fi section on DA.

I certainly could try. Of course that would further postpone my comic pages, but I had in mind of making some... Picture where all species so far are shown as well as their most iconic ship(s).

Regarding the species issues, I never actually gave any thought to that. I always assumed that the Aurelians (and the original Laser Wars factions, for that matter) were human.

Then your faction can be humans. I have to warn you though that I have never drawn human - discount maybe some stick figures, so we will see how that turns out. Anyway. I will first draw least one more page and then see what I could do.. Start listing ships.

Well you don't have to draw the actual guys. Just focus on the ships. This is Battleships Forever after all.

Thats why he hasn't drawn miorans. They're humans with fangs.
