History
IXO or Independent Xlyian Organisation is a powerful presence in the Core of the Milky Way Galaxy holding the key to extreme speed FTL drives (x5 faster than light is the highest reached by any other being in the galaxy and as I’m sure you know we possess up to x7 officially). Using this advantage we are well established as technical geniuses and are jealously looked at by competitors.

The IXO was established in 2136 GY; 10 years before the Terrans left Earth, a small but highly profitable technical engineer’s company formed it when he saw an opportunity to expand into spaceflight by developing engines for the Xylian Navy. He proved to be successful and so the Organisation’s presence spread and eventually becoming the sole survivor of the Corinth War that completely obliterated Xylia turning IXO into a nomadic corporation whose only stopping places were those abundant in resources.

Advantages
Xylian's as you know are not particularly strong but they are intelligent and resourceful, their ships are powerful with rapid firing beams and are large amount of ordnance from drones to missiles. Generally we are peaceful traders who thrive on our ability to make useful items that none else can match, while they aren't pretty they work a wonder.

Relations with other species
Often coming into contact with other species in the galaxy assiting where they can of special note are the IVL/VSE/TGE/Preservers who the IXO try to avoid direct contact with as they are noted to be particularily dangerous.

Physical Identity
As noted the Xylian race are not the strongest but are tall and lithe with an agile grace that would befit a Terran Queen. They have a greyish hue to their hair and a short fur covering their entire body.
