Since everyone else and their grandma is uploading a fleet, I have chosen to as well. This is my first group of ships, based on the same ones made of legos. (Finally, a way to battle, not limited by number of pieces!)

Here we go with the backstory:

2172: The first living creature survives a trip through hyperspace.

2174: A human goes through hyperspace, but he goes back dead. The first creature was a bacterium, and upon closer examination of older records, it was revealed that it was dead too.

2175-2213: Hyperspace is used only with cryostasis chambers and unmanned freighters.

2214: A science vessel literally stumbles upon a wormhole just as it opens, in the Kuiper belt. Knowing how it opened, scientists quickly go to work for this type of travel.

2223: After years, the first Wormhole Cannon is created. By ripping space-time, and resonating it in different ways, scientists manage to create large jumpgates.

2254: A private team creates the first commercially viable Wormhole Cannon, that can be micronized at the cost of range.

2263: The same team creates a similar device that makes a wormhole that expands from the center of a ship, and doesn't lose range at a smaller size. This becomes the first Fold drive.

2284: After criminals and corporations begin to gain power, unidentified vessels go in, and act as a police force, arresting thousands of criminals and fraudulent CEOs. They are revealed the next day to be from the newly formed United Alliance of the Orion Belt, (UAO for short) forged by world leaders 4 years earlier. Then, it was passed off as a joke, but in that time, 25 Centauron mk I ships were created, using a combination of molecular resequencing and fold technology for the first industrial replicators. This became known as the Cleansing

2286: The UAO becomes the official governing body of humanity.

2300: During the celebration of the new century on Orion 3, five Stegosaur Frigates fold into orbit, and begin a bombardment. They are quickly destroyed by military police, but they are revealed to be from a rebellion, sponsored by the criminals that escaped the Cleansing of 2284.

2306: After 6 years, the criminal sponsors betray the rebels. The rebellion, now well dug in, repel the attack, but not before two thermonuclear MIRV missiles, carrying five warheads each, are set off at Rebel HQ. The war is now fought in three directions.

2313: After a long war, the rebel and UAO leaders meet to discus terms. The UAO grants the rebels sovereignty, and the Federated Nation of Humanity (FNH) is made. They agree to face the ever more organized criminal element of humanity.

2315: The Ares Heavy Fighter and Hera Interceptor roll out of UAO R&D. Tests show them to be extremely effective in packs, and make good space and air superiority fighters.

2317: Present day.

Result: Bacterium returned at very much reduced energy levels. Still undergoing observation and testing to find the effect of hyperspace travel.

Note: As of a week after original jump, the bacterium has not been checked on. One scientist that routinely checked it hours after the original jump declared it dead, but this was not confirmed.
