Blue ROM: "Guide to the Outer Rim"
Old Barrel: "Biska's SD186 XO"
Reinforced Crate: "Launch Bay 32"

Standard Fold Drive (I don't trust that Advanced Fold Drive. Sounds too good to be true.)
1/4 Gauge Siege Shotgun (We've got a large weapon hardpoint, and this thing sounds big and shooty.)
Messiah's Bow Section (MOAR ARMOR WOOO)

*facepalm* seriously did you not just notice the, what, 3? maybe 4?, people saying why we should take the standard fold drive and not the advanced one?

the vostok biochem, don't know about that, seeing as it could cover a whole rane of things, although thinking about it if we do know where we're going (do we?) i don't really think we'll need the (probably outdated) "guide to the outer ring" as we're heading to one of two population centres, where we're sure to be able to recieve information.

actually as arcalane said, we don't have to spend everything, and seeing as we're heading for some bigger population centres surely there'd be places to spend money there? seeing as we don't yet know where any jump nodes are (wait, we are using jump nodes?) and don't really have any navigation charts the fold drive would be pretty much useless, so perhaps we should wait until later and get a decent fold drive we can trust.

also i still don't like the space shotgun =F
There is no OP, there is only more boosters...

Did you not read the thread? Specifically the part where Starstruck said:
PEACEMAKER - Ship Parts Dealership
Choose three, preferably including a fold drive:
Besides, saving is stupid. Clarent already put aside a portion of our funds, and by the look of things we're going to need a Fold Drive soon. I went with the Standard one over the Advanced one because the Advanced one seems like it's more likely to have problems with it, and the Standard variety seems more reliable.

What Anna said. The armor sounds good and so does the standard fold drive. Not so sure about the shotgun though. But I guess more weapons are better.

Also, you can never have enough info. Trust me, it can apply anywhere.
Congratulations. You're a textbook definition of a troll. -Danny

Yes, but that is a small portion for emergencies. There's no point in spending all of one's money at once. You, of all people, should be aware of this.

Why? What need? We'll get more. If STARSTRUCK said "Pick up to three items", I'd probably agree, but he said pick three. Not pick two, or pick one. Pick three. So I picked three. We'll have plenty of chances to get more stuff.

Agreed.
Still kinda torn about the Fold Drive...but eh, if you want to be safe I guess.

I dunno. The Siege shotgun sounds alright, but it's not like we want to rush into a fight to have our armor and hardpoints ripped off every single time.

I agree with all of the above, except switch out the Shotgun for the Artillery. It will soften the enemy up so we can move in to engage disabled ships.
It's not my fault I can't take your post seriously.

You're an idiot, inteuniso, and in case you hadn't noticed, this thread has been dead for several weeks. I have no doubt that, unfortunately, Starstruck has lost interest in it. Also, did you miss the bit where the artillery gun was suspiciously cheap and that if poorly aligned it'll miss like a motherfucker? I'd rather have a high-powered, short-range gun that we can hit with reliably than a long range gun that has a good chance of missing completely.

So in the off chance that Starstruck ever does continue this, don't sully this thread with such silly suggestions. :|
