Sakura had advanced towards the mall again. Periodically stopping to rest or check her suroundings.

She was now nearing the entrance near the mall on the South-West side and noticed that she was being watched by the guards, who thought she could not see her, obviously, the multitude of lenses sticking out of gaps in the walls, were'nt guns, no, no traveler would ever think of that.

''Show yourself, Captain of the Guards, for i am here without evil intentions, this is not the warm welcome i was expecting.

And before awaiting an answer she dropped to the floor, dropping her staff and other belongings on the floor..

I am aware of the odd people you get around here, and ill just like to inform you, im only here for some rest and bartering. She shouted out, and after that placed herself against one of the pillars near the entrance, not wanting to get shot, if the guards decided to shoot or act hostile towards her.

She began to breath heavily, as her lungs were'nt used to running this much.

Location: Inside mall
Health: slight thirst.
Status: looking for parts.

Upon hearing the man address him he walks over and asks if he has any packs or satchels (does he have any?)

happily taking the parts he thanks the store owner and give's him a couple rifle rounds along with a as payment. upon leaving the store he heres some shouting and sees a rather odd looking creature running away from the mall's guards and dashing behind a pillar for cover. Deciding to leave it as he was far to slow in his suit and not wanting to interfere in their business.

B.A.S being curious about the mall found himself scavenging a banged up flashlight, and a couple painkillers. Happy with his finds on the above levels B.A.S looks down in the basement. Once in the basement B.A.S trips on a weak step sending him falling down the steps only being unharmed but bruised by his armored suit. Once in the basement he gets up in a daze and looks around for a immediate exit upon not seeing any he decides to explore and look for water.

Location: basement of mall.
Health: slight thirst + bruises
Status:looking for water and a exit

(Better?)

[Status: Looking for people. Tired.]
Seeing no one in the immediate area, Sara turned around and searched for a place to sit. Intruding on an establishment without communication was risky unless one had the strength or equipment to back it up, or so she figured.

Spotting a crate situated next to a mound of debris and junk, she sat down on it and immediately realized how tired she was. Ever since she had escaped the camp, she had been fleeing from one thing or the other, only having stopped once because she passed out. Sara figured that a quick nap wouldn't hurt, and that if anyone came by, she would be alert enough to wake up and ask for sanctuary at the mall. Tucking her wings back underneath the cloak, and pulling its hood over her head, Sara closes her eyes and nods off to a light nap...

---

A gunshot cracked, breaking the quite afternoon lull, and snapping Sara awake.

W--wha~?

Sara took a peek over the mound of rubble and over toward the mall. While nothing could be seen from her vantage point, it appeared that the guards were negotiating with someone just inside the mall. From what she could figure, it wasn't going very well. Utilizing that particular entrance would probably be unwise.

Realizing this, Sara walks slowly around the perimeter of the mall in a clockwise direction looking for the next entrance. Seeing one, she walks up to it slowly, hands raised to signify that she meant no hostile intent. Stopping just before the door, she says:

Hello...? Anyone here?

In a mere matter of moments his weapon was pretty much fixed, only looking dirt from the impact with the rubble pile. Scratching the back of his wolf-like skull, he immediately felt somewhat sheepish at this, but not enough to give himself away for anything less then the grouchy scavenger he was known to be. "Thanks James... What will it cost me?" He inquired whilst handling the fixed rifle, not in a un-enthusiastic or unfriendly manner either. His answer came swiftly, eliciting a little grin from getting a free service.

Said grin died down after a diving suited member of the Mall trudged in with the grace of a beached whale, instinctively Sieg clutched the rifle, being slightly spooked by not being able to see the creature's face... (Due to Homer leaving it open to interaction, I'll post moar after Silver does. XD)

Two creatures observed and protected one the north entrance and the area around it. The were of squat, humanoid statue, quadruped in leg shapes and wearing light yet effective armour, casually holding what looked like recovered rifles of single-shot calibre and daggers sheathed over their thighs. Both guards calmly flanked the re-enforced north entrance

There was either a remote sense or code of uniform enforced here, or these two had actually come here together, any attempt at detecting their scents would suggest the latter.

Weapons fire erupted briefly, drawing their attentions briefly, but seeing their captain land on the ground close to the outsider, they relaxed, a little. The pair of Guardians that stayed behind to watch the eastern entrance saw a cloaked female approach through the no-mans land that was linked to the clear ‘pasture’ to the west of the mall, grazed by large cow-like animals. Their response was thankfully and rather less hostile due to her open approach and up-held hands. “Approach traveller, and indentify yourself please.” One spoke up, lifting his bandage-covered head briefly, the shape of some sort of muzzle or beak hinted, only the left eye showing, a softly glowing optic of yellow intensity that was almost framed by spiny ‘hair’ erupting from his skull to make something akin to a Mohawk.

(Hopefully you won't mind me taking a little librerty with the gaurds at where she wanted to go, rather than a un-protected door. X3)
Mall Guardian 2nd Captain’s status wrote:[Location: Northern entrance.]

The second Captain was perched on what appeared to be an impromptu perch consisting of metal pieces and thick plant matter. It was a tall, bony yet disturbingly muscular creature of dull grey flesh, wrapped in a dusty, equally colourless and tattered cloak, form-fitting and deep blue leggings and a long-beaked gasmask that gave their four-armed visage a nigh-nightmarish appearance, holding itself aloof and controlled even as it was perched like a living Gargoyle. The approach of the female outsider (Sakura) would have made obliged him to challenge her, but the premature round fired off made him silently snarl.

“Cease fire-CEASE FIRE!” It hissed and growled out loud, multiple distortions in its masculine voice making it no more likely to be comforted for the female that was incidentally shot at. Her words merely brought the hellish creature’s attention to her, his hidden eyes boring into her form. Soon the skeletal, cloaked creature moved, and by moving it virtually leapt off the Mall’s south-eastern wall and dropped down from the side of the Mall to half-stand a few metres near her with little sound regarding his raptor-like feet impacting with the dirt. “Identify yourself.” He commanded in that distinctive, face-less voice. His four arms were under the tattered cloak, one could assume the creature had some sort of personal defence stashed away, but the long, bony tail and clawed hands were sure signs that this Captain could best experienced Scavengers with agile, graceful ease. Meanwhile a few members of the Mall approached from within, their own weapons of varying levels of technology branded warily.

"It's incredible where a simple chase will lead you," said Kyer Sendring, to no one in particular. "Especially when it leads you into a crummy hole in the ground without light or directions..."

Kyer was an unusual person. As far as looks, he was strange in that he appeared to be a human in the shape that was common before the (Big Magical Nuclear Event). Beyond that, he was a shapeshifter.

An ability like that can come in handy almost anytime, provided the practitioner doesn't have to scrounge around for the extra mass he needs to make himself into something useful. He could still perform any number of handy tricks with his natural mass, and increasing density was always a valid method of raising resilience as well as active biomatter.
Nevertheless, Kyer was caught without his wits that day, and lost the biotank he carried with him while he was engaged at the wrong end of a hunter-prey relationship.

One of the fine details that frequently ticked the man off was that surprise and fear stopped his peculiar powers from working. He just couldn't get the muscles writhing and the bones bending while he was locked in primal running mode. Until he had gained control of himself, Kyer had just had to run for cover. Of course it was a different story once his nerves were back under control. After a bit of a tousle, he had simply impacted his smelly-mutant pursuer's head with a hardened bone spike.

Finishing with the creature left him all alone under the wrecked metropolis. No light, no entertainment, those two being the main issues since he could easily eat himself without any ill effects (or rather, reabsorb his tissues to use as energy), Kyer trudged through the slimy dark tunnels in search of a ladder to climb.

Appearing out of an ethereal slash in thin air, Reynold stepped onto the hot, sandy earth of the Johannesburg desert. he was immediately blasted with the hot desert air. Now sweating profusely, Reynolds looked around, hoping to find a landmark. His eyes fell on smoke on the horizon, and focussed his Inner Eye on the horizon. It seemed to be the burning ruins of a settlement.

With a tap on the sand with his wizened elder staff, Reynolds re-entered the ethereal slash, transporting him a further 10 kilometers away from his last position.

30 seconds later, Reynold was surveying the remains of the Storm Raider encampment, littered with burning tents and dead bodies. Reynolds repressed a shudder. Surely there must be someone still alive?

But he was mistaken. Wherever he went, the dead bodies of Storm Raider personnel and slaves greeted his approach. There seemed no sign of any living being, except for...

Reynold stopped. Shadows flitted in and out his surroundings, moving faster than his eye could see. Suddenly a large number of dragonoid warrior stepped out of the shadows, surrounding him. Everywhere he looked there were dragonoids. Armed and dangerous.

They bared their large, ferocious teeth at him; brandished their weapons, but still Reynold did not make a sound. They advanced on him, but not until they got with extreme range of their weapons did Reynold act.

Suddenly, a wind blew all arond them, blowing the sand into their eyes, where they were weakest. They hopped in agony, while Reynold remained perfectly motionless, waiting for the right time to strike. Then, it came where the sandstorm peaked - an almighty blast echoed for miles around, flattening all in its wake.

Then, as suddenly as it had happened, the storm stopped. Reynold was kneeling on one knee, nearly shattered by the blast, which of course was his own doing. All around him dragonoids lay motionless, stunned, knocked out by the force of the explosion.

Reynold stood up. He surveyed all around him, where dragonoids joined the dead bodies of the Storm Raiders. He then swept his robe around, and once more disappeared into the ethereal.
