Given that most of the plot will be going on inside the ship, I might whip up a single blueprint of it's interior...That is, if I get some constructivve liberty with the ships looks Taskara

Size-wise I was thinking the ship is AT LEAST as big as this one:

cut that in half and make it 2 floors and you have the rough size of the living area, the engine area is separated from the living area by a connector rod that can be destroyed if the core looses stability. the top floor of the living area is smaller and holds only the crew quarters. below it the normal deck houses (going from forward to after) the bridge, the Electronics hub (wiring and guts, accessed by removing a wall panel) the galley and kitchen, then there is the small hanger (small) on one side and the cargohold (larger) on the other. then there is the connector rod running out to the engines in one long hallway, at the end there is a ladder going up to the pod room where Rain was, and the hallway splits in a going around the engine block and out to the tail assembly.

If you wanna try making a BPO for the ship go ahead, I might try myself using my l33t MS paint skillz

@Auriak there are no aliens in this RP. and if Normandy is going to be active then there really wouldn't be any open crew spots left. I can let you on as a passenger who becomes permanent when something happens but crewwise we're pretty well covered.

There won't be anything to do with the aliens in the actual RP, the race has died out (and no one ever knew about them) and passed all their knowledge into Jack's subconscious when they abducted him.

Um, I realize I'm going to sound like a little annoying brat, but I'm still here. And haven't been interviewed yet.

If this is any better he used to work with a peculiar scientist on Neptune  :? .

(By the way I never saw anything about there not being any aliens whatsoever at all. You have to tell me these things.)

did you see anything to indicate their were aliens?

Trashman, thats really good but the shape is kinda wrong and things are in the wrong places, heres a BPO I made, please make it pretty:
Image
Upper deck: the part on the left is the crew quarters, the little part on the right is the cryo chambers the cryos are above the reactor and are reached by climbing a latter where the Y branches in the engine section.

Lower deck:
A: Bridge
B: Lounge
C: Galley
D: Kitchen
E: The hanger
F: the cargohold, it extends under the hanger as well.

unlabeled:
Those little cubbies in the front corners are weapons lockers

the area with all the pink dots is the weapons storage area, it holds the ship to ship weapons.

the grey area in the front is the electronics core (the electrical guts) you need to open a wall panel to access them.

the lined area between the engines and the habitation areas are power conduits.

the pink circles in the engine area are nothing, Idk why I put them there.

the big grey area in the back is the engines and reactors

the grey areas on the other side of the rear hallway are the shield emitters.

Ya, I didn't put the wing in hte blueprints..since well, there are no corridors or rooms inside wings so there was no need..

And I made the corridor between the rear and front sections thicker, since it makes no sense to make a military ship with such a thin neck.

I didn't follow your instruction to the letter..:? I asked for creative freedom, didn't I? :p
Pondered for quite a while in regards to internal layout of the sections, tried make one that a real shipbuilder would probably use..even consulted some shipbuilding manuals and blueprints.

Can't we use the layout I already made? It's so nice. :o

but its wrong, and I'd had that idea for a layout for a while, I really like it. it makes sense structurally, and it took me all day to make that design.
