What I am about to broadcast is what was formerly classified information.
The Velvet Hammer class Monitors are not able to be powered by normal means, so we went in a radical direction to power the vessel.
It is powered by a artificially generated Blackhole, held in check via Impeder arrays. The energy it generates is enough to power 100's of Velvet hammers.
Now what do you think will happen should such a ship detonate inside a fleet of ships such as the invaders?

Does it not? Or did you forget your heritage in your long self exile my dear brother? There are no revolutionary's left to threaten your rise to heir. The throne is yours.

My god. That means we may have the best chance at eliminating they're warp hole, therefore ending the constant flow of reinforcements! but what about-

Suddenly, a massive amount of warp signatures comes up, and just as it seems the enemy has them cornered, hope arrives.

Thats... thats the Pride of Sweden! And Zeron himself is sitting in the cockpit of his very flagship! Its the templar divsion! I can't beleive it! The patriarch lives!

At that moment, the glaring few ships that stood before them were like blessings from god himself, lifting the spirits of the NTO crew so much that the y're joyus yelling could be heard in the backround of the microphone.

"My people, we end this now."

You all, head to Hells gate in case I fail. Though I intend not to. I will pay for this war I brought upon the galaxy, and for the blood spilled. And bring silence once and for all.

*Nudges the speed counter on the Hammer to all ahead full, the massive warship edges out of the Drydock quickly*

*Engages Warp engines and the hammer disappears through the vortex*

"This plan is insufferable madness! You may consider such sacrifice honorable, but my people and myself do not suffer the glorification of death!

I implore you with every fiber of my being, there must be another way!"

And risk more death when it could only require one? Nay I will throw the best card we have against them.
Madness? Nay, the Midgardian conflict was madness.

"You shall be remembered today as the hero who saved us from oblivion, and you shall be known as a martyr for your services. Do haste, and may you lose your life not in vain, but for all the people of the galaxy." Zeron stated, as the ships began towards hells gates, waiting for any sign of anything from deep space.

[OFFICIAL ARALONIAN STATEMENT]

The Third Fleet (Expeditionary Force) and Fourth Fleet (Western Assault Force), with a battlegroup from the Sixth Fleet (Carrier Strike Force) will be dispatched to deal with the inbound threat to this quadrant of the galaxy. A list of what ships are participating in this combat action will be released to your intelligence agencies in short order. We cannot let the systems here fall to this unknown threat, identified to be similar to the Naggarok Specimens, a cataclysmic disaster that had infected Permiteric and Aralonian vessels before it was thought to be destroyed. A simple encyclopedic entry regarding the Naggarok Specimen is attached.

Also, for IVL forces, Seventh Fleet (Facility Command) will dispatch two of our Empress-class mobile shipyards to provide forward repairs for IVL vessel 'Velvet Hammer' and other related damaged ships.

Aralonia moves for naught but her own protection.

--

Naggarok Specimen:
A biomechanical virus that inhabits deep space. Found first on the ship Naggarok, it had mutated hull plating into semi-organic structures and fired beams that infected Aralonian vessels through even reactive phase armour plating, and Permiteric ships through directed energy shielding.

Capital ships have had their primary beam arrays modified to have the capability to fire virus specimens, infecting any capital ship it comes in contact with. The only method we have to defend against this virus upon contact is by venting reactor plasma directly into the affected sections, pushing the virus back. Another method of viral transfer is through direct contact with ship hulls, which can be repelled with the same plasma vent methods.

The origins of this virus are probably extragalactic due to mutations it inflicts on organic structures such as living sophonts and plant life.

*During the two hour wait, further repairs are done to the Hammer in short order. Though not fleet slaying ready again, she should be able to plow through the alien armada.*

*Hammer warps out without even so much as a communique to anyone*
