Basically, I'll be working with this blueprint for my Sirian fleet and I need
help deciding which one looks better.

Definitely winged, IMO.

Defianatly the wingless one. While wings look cool, the carrier looks so much better without them. It just looks.... sleeker, and more secksay?

Both look cool! Wonder if it includes active modules too?

I like the winged one, looks more dynamic. What are you planning on arming with?

Modified Demeters, a fair amount of point defense, and just enough firepower
to scare off weaker frigates/destroyers.

It's a carrier. Wingless, definitely.

Wingless for the carrier; save the winged version for a maneuverable battleship (line the wings with thrusters or summat)

Wingless - and on an unrelated note, that design could totaly be used in a balanced ship. Just reduce the health to ~1500 and keep the weaponry down. I'd love to see that thing in cannon (which will never happen, but hey)

Wingless, you're travelling through space and you don't want to present a wider target to an enemy. Especially if you put weapons and modules on it.

Of course, it would be a shame to lose those wings. If you do consider thinking about keeping the wings, it would be a great place to put the deflectors/aegis generators.

Wingless, and might I add, nice colouring there.

Winged. The ship has a biomorphic feel to it, and the wingless version just feels amputated. If you must use the wingless version, have the aft end of the ship taper out to an end, and make the body of the ship longer.

I think imageshack fell asleep. I can't see the images. Try a different host, maybe? :?

Edit: Ok, I like wings, but I'd have to say this one looks better without 'em.
However, those are some awesome wings. Keep the design and stick them on something else. :P

Sorry, apparently ImageShack somehow "lost" the pictures. :( I'll try again...

And thanks T-002!

Wingless one, look more original
