Besieger Core

The Besieger Core is designed as a ship that surrounds your enemy and then attempt to annihilate them.

The outer shield wall has 80,000 health per section. Almost invincible from the outside, but if you look closely at the connections you can destroy a section of the shield by destroying two things.

All the weapons along the shield wall are default everything except for their range, which is 300. The only guns that are modified are the ones found on the core itself. The laser weaponry that fires around the inside of the ship has its damage shot up a small amount and the main cannon is obviously a lot stronger.

The only weapon that can attack beyond the shielding is the main laser cannon. It isn't necessarily the main way to attack someone, but it makes for a good opening attack as you close into the enemy. If the enemy you are fighting isn't a titan or just larger then you, you can teleport on top of them, encasing them in a shred of bullets and lasers.

A really cool strategy that i've used with this thing was transporting units safely within them while repairing their parts.

General view of the ship.

Weapon radii. (Radius of the lasers on the core is actually 130, screenshot is a bit dated.)

Fairly interesting concept, but its just begging to have a lancet shot inside the shields. I actually wonder if you could use your shields to reflect your own lancet shots?

Not sure about that, but i do know those techyamo (sp?) really tear up my insides when a custom ship spams them into me. I try to teleport away when that sort of thing happens.

That's an interesting-looking bubble ship. I'd not recommend using deflector devices with nanomatrices though.

Overpowered factor or some sort of interference thing going on in between the two?

His personal taste and nothing more.

If BF ships were to bounce off or get injured on inpact when colliding with other ships, and the only way to enter was through the front, then that would be great. But even though they don't, it is still interesting.

Agreed. That would make this ship pretty awesome. As it is, it's a fairly interesting design.

I had that same thoughts but then realized ships were able to pass through eachother. It would be so awesome to teleport on someone to trap them. As the way it currently works i plan on making more medium sized ships to create a fleet. This is basically a titan-sized support ship.

Lancets don't bounce on shielded sections belonging to the same ship as the lancer module but lancet shots from friendly ships will bounce off friendly deflector/aegis sections.

I can sense it bouncing and tearing equipment apart like a pinball...

I pitted this ship against another ship that had a whole array of Lancet Beams.

The lancet ship died, but the lancet beams lingered until they gave out pinball style.
