Well, I'm (sort of) back at shipbuilding. Without anything else, here are my recent ships.

Don't mind the "color", it's supposed to be the marking of the "teams" color.
C&C appreciated.

They seem like good shapes of empty hulls that you could easily add details and equipment to, but maybe its just me the zoom seems a bit close.

The zoom is on normal (When I press the "Home" button)
But yeah, they do kind of look empty. Maybe I'll try adding weapons to it. I'll post once I have armed them.

No, the zoom's not on default, it's way zoomed in. You want the backspace key, not home.

The ships are alright, but nothing special. Their section usage and such is decent, but not eye catching and they lack details that would make you pay attention to them. The yellow in some of them seems a bit random, like you picked sections at random and recoloured them.

What are you talking about, Bad Boy?

From the goddamn F1 keylist:
Home Reset zoom
Backspace Reset zoom and center on core
(It's actually the other way around, though. Home sets it to default zoom and centers on the core, Backspace only sets it to default zoom without centering on the core)

They both do pretty much the same damn thing. Learn what the hell you're talking about before you type shit, Bad Boy, for fuck's sake. If he really did hit "home" before taking these screenshots though, then he must have stretched sections excessively.

Hiant, don't do that. It's nasty.

My bad then, I didn't realise home set it to default zoom as well (I use backspace).
In my defense, the pics don't look like default zoom at all, so I figured home didn't set zoom (it was either that or he didn't press home). Seeing as I've never used it, I didn't know otherwise. The sections don't really look stretched either, they're not blurry or pixelated (although it's not too easy to tell without unstretched ones to compare with), so I can only assume it's not on default zoom.

That being said, thanks for the correction Anna (a bit overly forceful though it may be).

None of those sections are stretched. I'll get some other screenies. Hold on.
EDIT: Updated. This time the zoom is that when you open ship maker and load.

Oh good, they aren't stretched to all hell.

Your ships would look less boring, flat and ugly if you used some SWA sections other than just the TSA_Uraki sprites. At least, I hope they would. Right now they're just a mess of sections thrown together in fairly random shapes. They have no real detail, depth or life to them. Kaelis has made literally hundreds of SWA sections, try adding some of them to your repertoire, for crying out loud.

The style of the front and back halves are way different, and it messes up the look of the ship. Try to keep a consistent style throughout the whole ship

Yes, but only in that it's a concistent style. I actually liked the previous ship better. See what you can do to it.
