Too dark, really.

Once again, it seems a bit too dark, especially at the wings.
Shape in general is oaky, though the holes in the body are something that need to be filled in. Depthing is also a bit strange. The bright peices at the bottom makes it look like the dark parts actually go over the brighter bits.
The subtle shield things look great though.

I think dark can be good, as it creates contrast, but too much of it just makes all a piece of black turd. This, fortunately, is not the case. I think I like this. It's decent, and the darkened wings (thank goodness you placed a sun behind the ship to outline it) make the core stand out a bit more.
