Lizzie's Ships
Yep, to start off with is my Flagship, the "War Clockwork III".
As far as I know she's balanced according to gameplay terms.
Yes I know she's loaded to the brim with guns, armor, and deflectors, but she is SLOW on speed and turning.

I will show you the rest of my fleet as the final designs roll out.

Same here. Although a lot of my Customers would eat it for breakfast, it still is a nice ship.Lizzie wrote:To clarify I don't mean balanced as in a stock ship would have a chance against it. I only use those for target practice. I pit it against other customs.
Yeah, why the hell did you have to rant at Lizzie? People like you chase people like her off forums like this. We don't need Death by Xenophobe here, k?Lizzie wrote:Oh and thinks Anarki, your first post was so welcoming. LOLBYE

Pshaw. Modding the weapons if half the fun.Lizzie wrote:None of the weapons are modded, they are the way they came.Aralonia wrote:Balance against customs? That deflector array seems logical then... What's the damage/rate of fire/etc. on those railers you have there?
I never mod my weapons.

I guess this thing would be rather on the order of V'Ger, then.Kacen wrote:But yeah in the context of the default ships it's way overpowered.

Anything that takes apart a default ship in less than 5 seconds without taking a hit is overpowered IMO.
I really like the broadside railguns. It reminds me of early wet-navy ships with their carronades blasting off into the distance. Which is what I'm trying to do with my Mephistopheles-class.

Also just FYI this thing used to have 8 Deflector's, and 4 Demeter's. And I plan on cutting down the Deflectors to 4 instead of 6.
Also I'm chipping down the armor to 2100 as well to match Kacen's newest Dreadnought as well.

Broadsiding a target is my favorite way to go, but I also have firepower focused in the front. All my ships follow the same design pattern BTW, their all "Arrowheads".Aralonia wrote:Anything that takes apart a default ship in less than 5 seconds without taking a hit is overpowered IMO.
