Ryen's small fleet & radom ships [New ships!]

Archives for ships and fleets. 'nuff said. Most of the ships here are very very old and will not work in current versions of BSF or SM. You have been warned!

Did you turn on the AI? Its under Misc Actions/game settings/toggle AI Controller. You gotta do that in game for them to actually do much. Also might wanna turn your gradient off and glow to black if you haven't already. Both of those are under options in the main game menu.

I like the big guns battleship feel of your ships but I think you could do without the large sections in the middle. Also might want to try a different color combination rather than the purple or green with the blue, maybe orange or something stronger just for the highlights. I'm no good with color combos but there are plenty of good examples in the holy ship thread.

If I'm not mistaken this time let me try and suggest that you turn off ship glows in BSF Options.
If admirals hate and trash your ships,
If you can't get it right;
Then off you go, but don't call quits;
Just go make custom sprites.

Its a very common newbie-to-SW mistake to make. Mainly its brought about by this common tidbit of information under a lot of other information not related to SW-style sprites in general.

I like the small SWA ship alot. The two winglets are very well done, keep it up! Nice use of the Flashbolter (?) on the wings, I didn't notice it was actually a weapon until I put it under closer scrutiny.

As for the stock ships, I see potential in the shape, but the internal sectionwork looks okay, probably because it's saturated and cluttered, and I can't make too much out of it. I'd like to see those in SWA style.

A crazy wepon idea just came up and I spend 10 minute to work it out.
I don't know why I'm made this thing, but I still feeling there is some one in my brain and said:"They are not enough...Not enough...Enough...(echo)"
It looks like some kinds of rail gun array.
Maby I can make a ship depends on this wepon. :cool:

Edit*
Oh, forgot to say:New ship and some little change on the top

That is slightly disturbing. Besides, it's easier just to make 5 beamers that are linked together to get that effect.
It's not my fault I can't take your post seriously.

I personally like the effect. It's been awhile since someone use a different combination of weapons to create a "custom" weapon.

I like it, but side effects may include exploding graphics cards!

This is a signature. It goes at the end of my post.

And ears/speakers. :?

It's quite a neat visual effect, but there are surely much better ways of getting it.

Well, I know there has many way to make this effect but I want a penetrative wepon. That's why I used the railgun.(Only my rail gun~ Yeah!)
