Blocky crap around SW ships? Please help

This is my first SW style ship ever. It's almost definitley bad but whats the annoying blocky shit floating around it?

By the way credit for the weapons to HorseMonster

turn off the glow in the options, just set glow color to 0,0,0.
that fixes it, it has something to do with fail code and fail sprite loading.
Due to fail program used to write non-fail game.
