Try gimp as a sprite making program. Other than that, not really sure what you are asking for. As far as making custom sprites, i would recomend smaller ones since whole ships don't lose parts if its one piece. No disrespect but it seems like you were asking for advice on making custom parts, since you keep saying its your first time doing them, but then you reject all advice on how to make good sprites...If you could be more clear about what it is you want from us, it would help...

dude your best bet at this point is to calm down and stop taking everything personally. If your trying to do something specific by designging the ship that way, explain it to us and we will tell you how to do it better. If your trying to make a normal ship like everyone else, you need to take a step back and try something different. Maybe try a stock ship then expand into making custom parts. We aren't trying to dampen your creativity but if a dozen people tell you something isn't just mediorcre but actually reaks of failure, don't you want to learn to do it better?

*edit* on the ship, I like the shape, and it looks like theres some cool textures in there but its far too blurry.

There's too much improperly placed aegis scattered around, I can't make out the center. The custom sprites look neat, but it's too dark for me to see.

And the whole thing looks like a custom sprite

In interest of creativeness yes...it the entire ships is made of my custom sprites.

(sigh) i guess i just need some more "Pratce"

and yeah Arcalane is giving....titles....annoying as they may be....

Are you sure your screenshot didn't get corrupted cause I'm seeing a mess of miscolored pixels and blurry orange parts.
