First:
It looks very vulnerable. Your ship looks like it was made out of sticks, and that connotation seems to have a bad reputation on the battlefield for being... well... breaking up in a few shots. For example, the front two spikes need to be thickened, and you need more of a hull. Not that spider-ships aren't nice, in fact it is, but spider-ships still need to look durable and have a definite body to leg ratio.
Second:
The colors. The light blue for the hydraulics was a good idea, but the white on the front spikes are an eyesore. Given that most of your ship is a dark grey, either the spikes need to be toned down, or the rest of your ship toned up. Consider color for depth: the lower it is, the darker.
Third:
I like it. Despite it looking "like a pile of sticks", it's pretty decent for a new-comer like you. Of course, you may have lurked a lot before posting, so I may be wrong, but you get my point. I especially like the hydraulics, as I pointed out. May I ask what set did you use?

If admirals hate and trash your ships,
If you can't get it right;
Then off you go, but don't call quits;
Just go make custom sprites.

Much better in terms of coloring, but the ship still looks like a stick. Add more pieces to the interior, just enough to give it more beef, but not so that it becomes cluttered. That's the true mastery of ship building.

Alright then, with that in mind, the download for Ravager, Orca, and Greycloak, will be up soon.
Here is a picture of Greycloak in case you haven't seen it yet.
Edit* Ravager is glitching up...again...it would be best if I didn't put it up for download due to the fact that I don't want to spread around a virus.

the greycloak is very interesting in its color scheme.
i wish i could create large ships effectively like this...
btw, use "forum preview" for your pictures.
(the thumbnails are small, and you don't have to go to the preview site)

My favorite pokemon: Swampert, and Articuno
Pokemon Black Friend Code: 3267-4421-2889
Minecraft Name:IcyPwnage
Miscellaneous SW ships
New ship, Men O War, which has the sweet manual transmition that makes it a broadside cruiser whenever you like (Hitting "," activates it...but when it pauses it will keep going through cycles so hit "." whenever you feel like stopping it.)
so its designed to go from this,
to this,
yea...no download...
EDIT* file system is better, if there is something wrong still drop me a PM
