From the guy who put the A to the Symmetry - update 8/July

Archives for ships and fleets. 'nuff said. Most of the ships here are very very old and will not work in current versions of BSF or SM. You have been warned!

Man, I can't express how happy it would make me if you put up downloads for these babies. :) Seriously, I love this design style. You make something that's an ugly, chunky, junky ship, and somehow at the same time make it beautiful. I want to play with these so much.

Thanks for the praise.
Before I upload the fleet,I would close some gaps in the fleet.
Also one ship slipped this rule, look on page 2.
It´s my goal to complete a balanced fleet as a whole and this takes the most time besides the constant demand for custom sprites for my ship.

Edit: new ship incoming

Alright, these latest ones are a tad too colorful. The grey clashes with multiple bright colors. I mean, maybe with cooler colors it could work, but as it stands, the warm colors plus the dark grey create parts of the ship that are distracting. Tone down the saturation a little bit on the non-gray parts, or make the grey a bit brighter and then it may be better.

I like the shape though. Definetely a design that I like, but I can't get past the bright red and orange.

I'm actually somewhat inclined to agree. The bright orange armour plating on this one, and the very blue shade of blue on your previous ship are somewhat overwhelming, especially when compared to all the mix of colours and shades underneath. It's not too bad on the blue one, but on the orange one it's... actually rather glaring.

Still, sexy ship is sexy. Keeping going man!

The last two while good ships are let down by the bright colors, your ships work great with dull colors, and bright colors just don't work, well the bright colors we have seen on them so far anyway.

Due to popular demand, pick a colour for this ship...

I actually rather like that white, but hmm... perhaps a darker, less saturated shade of orange?

Keep the white sections and the glows, but add some black strips running down the sides, in an asymetrical order, and make the lines differ in thickness

Ignore Imaillusion because all his ideas are horrible. It's not his fault, really, he's just bad at ideas.

Agreed, I´m building warships not sportcars.

The two aren't mutually exclusive, but its not really applicable to these particular ships... though I'm inclined to think some battle-scar doodads(impact craters, scorch marks, etc) might increase its badass look. I like the white, it just needs some accents. Really the orange went well with the ship but it was mostly the brighter red you used in such quantity which killed it for me.

quiet productive ((Silently productive?))

I like this ship, I really do...
The white/green colour scheme is quite nice and the ship is built nicely too, there is only one problem...
Those engines look like they are floating over the ship, they don't look attached to the ship at all...
I don't know about you; But I generally don't store games in RAM.
