The Attala.

Archives for ships and fleets. 'nuff said. Most of the ships here are very very old and will not work in current versions of BSF or SM. You have been warned!

Firstly; hi. I'm new, a rookie.
This ship is my first creation using SWA parts. So yeah, here:

The Attala. You might ask; what are those fugly boxes? Well; they are weapons in DEVELOPMENT. I am trying to make good sprites for weapons.

The reason the Image thingies don't work is because of the slash at the end of your link...

Hey, nice ship. Bit jagged in places and a bit hollow in others, but it's not bad at all for a nubship. Colors are nice (first ship I've seen to rock the Cyan and look goooood doing it)

Also, the boxes could make good module covers as well. I'd love to see the sprites you come up with.

Any ideas what form the sprite should be? I already have the bullet sprite which is a blue ancestral drone (Picture here)

Hm. Could you show that bullet sprite? I've been trying to make a drone like that for some time now but my attempts haven't been very sophisticated. It would be nice to see someone else's way of looking at it.

The ship itself is quite well done for a first timer. However I would attempt to concentrate on the way everything flows in your case. Make sure you don't have any hard angles, for example.

Thanks for advice. As for the drones, I have a yellow version and a blue one, through they are small.

You might want to consider putting those sprites on a black background, That way I don't destroy my eyes trying to look at it...

-Sorry for double post, but this is an update.
I expanded the ship on its wings, and I got an interesting outcome.

I meant those bullet sprites in the post above mine... They don't have black outlines or am I going mad?

I can't actually say I see any bullet sprites in the post above yours.

My point exactly...
Look carefully, You might see them like this:

Sprite 1: Image
Sprite 2: Image

(zooming in also helps)
