After the devastation of the third World War, humanity crumbles from the ashes and is once again reaching for the stars, space travel is possible and travel to some nearby systems is possible using a new drive technology that pushes a ship deeply trough deep space, disabling the ship in deep space, but gets back to functionality once in a new system.
Two political forces, the United Nations of Mankind (UNM) and the Order of the New Dawn lead colonization on new worlds, military conflicts have been banned from the solar system, the war must be fought on the outer areas.
The new lines are drawn, war is once again a common thing between the two large forces.
The UNM expands quickly with their fast tactics and quick thinking, kinetic and missile weapons in their arsenal, they must fight the Order.

A mysterious and unknown artifact has been found in the territories of the Order, the Order believes in a new way of life, a new dawn that was promised long ago by another race, with eternal peace. The Order uses the technology of a ancient long dead civilization, powerful particle bolt and beam weapons have been invented and are in the arsenal of this powerful force.
The large war will be on a far larger scale than the world wars, far larger, this war will take entire systems. It's a fight over resources, treaties and to be the ultimate power ever known to humanity.

Mantis class very heavy corvette
Almost frigate sized, this corvette is a large scale bomber using two capital grade particle blasters, firing bolts like a torpedo, this is a dangerous bomber-corvette to any capital ship, the blasters can only fire forward, thus making it a large bomber.
Sphinx class destroyer
The Sphinx is not all too big, expensive but reasonably armored and is ready to take multiple tasks, using 4 particle blasters as turreted weapons, the Sphinx can easily defend itself or escort larger vessels.
It is rumored that a Sphinx class destroyer carries one infantry drop pod to board disabled vessels or quickly insert a special ops team into a planet.
Cobra class light cruiser
This state of the art cruiser is a dangerous one, although a light cruiser, easily destroyed by large capital vessels, it carries a heavy cruiser grade particle beam emitter instead of a large amount of smaller weapons. The Cobra is a ideal escort and a sole destroyer flotilla leader alike.
Python class heavy cruiser.
The python is considered a heavy cruiser, yet it is not really that big but the Python earned it's name by its design. Like a real Python, this ship has 1 turreted particle beam and 4 fixed particle beams mounted in the wings, it can rattle around its target and give a deadly strike.
