Hello again, I've changed the thread to begin on a new fleet using the newly styled sections.
I think I kinda failed, but here's the Glorix cruiser.

Hello Grasmaaier,

I say that IMHO that ship is great for a first forum reveal. Awesome for a first, and I kinda dig the way the weapons are placed, really appropriate.

Hello again, my parents are strict and have set up a white list of sites which I can use, this forum is not, sadly, but I found a proxy site my dad used for his job, I use that now to get past the block and come here :D :D
I can only use mail to talk in any other way, no MSN, no chat site, nothing
I will try to convince them some day that I can freely go on the internet
They think the BSF shipmaker is just one of those "digital toys" like toybox
Heres a other ship I made, I tried to make a good rear! I'm kinda bad at engines
No name for it yet, just want to show you guys :D

I can, however, see and visit image hosts like photobucket and filesmelt.

PS : Is something wrong with my screenshots? I just liked to use a black background (removing the silly white lines) and using the start zoom (with the home key, lines look better in my opinion)

I must say, those are some very nice ships, great section works.(Are those mecha's?)

On the engine part: I'd suggest the biggest engine available in the steampunk pack.
On a sidenote: What's wrong with Dutch parents these days.........

Here by I welkom you.(that's not a Typo.)

Solid, pleasing designs.

Both designs lack colour and apparent depth.

Up to you if you feel they're fine as they are.

They're gone for today! I'm home alone with my sis (who's 18 and can do whatever she wants to) :D

I'm reading around about depth, seems like I need new colors
Lotsa of those sections are mechas yes, I find them good base parts with other sections over it as some kind of..uhh..how do you call it?...system, texture or something.

My parents are just too much caring, they'll understand me some day :D
I'll be making some ships all day now! :D

I tried to make a bit of depth and color like squishy said, I hope it works out well

I like the new ship, it has the same realistic feel all the others have aswell.
Thing is you have (probably) never used an old version, and so you don't know which weapons are old or new. So you are using them both.(Might sound totally random until you look at some of the ships of old shipbuilders.)

Only one thing I don't like about it now: The engines just come out too far.

Ok I did the engines a bit back, also wider now

I changed the nose a bit, should I make lights on the antennas? :D
Changed the main weapon too, I feel a tactical nuke should only be bared by the largest ships :D

Maybe I should stop this thread, make a fleet, then post the fleet, only my stories kinda suck

Then make it a WiP(Work In Progress) fleet topic.
Ship looks way better now. I've never been a fan of the twin blaster but it looks good.
I don't really like the engine sprites. Still they look better now.

Click the weapon and press "w" to set it to the same depth as its parent section, i.e. sections in front of that will be above it. If you press it again the weapon will go back to the top.
