im making ships and i want some tips and stuff so reply plz :) [img]<a><img></a>[/img]kamega is my biggest ship so far
and its the one i need tips alot

Welcome.
It's preferred that you crop your images. Your small ships look pretty decent. I though i might as well just let you know the thrusters on the siego are overlapping. The big ship doesn't seem to have a definite shape. It just looks like a bunch of parts were just stuck together. You also may have a few too many weapons and modules. Fix those things and you'll have a decent looking ship.

yeah i got a problem with overloading wepons on ships... i just like it :)

well i may have a suggestion. why don't you modify the turrets to pour out more shots instead of placing many turrets of the same type?

ok, well if your going to do what their telling you is making your ships look worse, how about you pick more carefully where you are putting your weapons and give them mounting points. There are several good sections that work as bases for guns. Also, have as many guns as you like, if you must, but why put them all around the edges? Theres almost none in the middle and a few well placed explosions will strip your ship of all weaponry...

We only need the shp, not the stats or the right-hand panel. Also, think about how the sections "flow" together. The first ship looks more like a floating junkyard. You can also take pictures in Shipmaker.

well i suppose its ok if you're not planning to use these to kill other people's ships.(quite frankly, i did that once myself and had the experience of getting chastised, quite enlightening if you may.) but a bit more on the aesthetics side:

agreed on all counts. seems as the ship designs progress, looks as though you're slowly taking away more and more stuff and going for a more...minimal look? last one looks kind of decent.
