Time for another update.

Just put up the download for the first two random ships, and made 2 more SWA style ships using some modified sprites of mine.

Those are SCHW33t! I think I might need to build some of these things soonish, too.

If only we had this stuff back when the Meta started. I particularly like this fellow;

Agree with Arcalane - those angular sections are schweet n mesh really nicely there. Release?

Alright time for another update!
This time I decided to make some smaller frigate class ships, tell me what you think.

A small frigate to go along with my last ship


Random scout frigate


Random artillery frigate with turret

Slight nitpick with the random scoutship, the front looks flat compared to the back, perhaps add some more sections beneath it to give it that sense of depth that the back has.

Have the same sort of issue with the artillery frigate, ship looks some what flat compared to the other SW-ized ships. Like the first one tho

Dude, you should seriously make a big ship. I'd be willing to bet you'd get a HOLY SHIP! award.

Here is another random ship with some random spiky armor and a new colour scheme I decided to try.

Much much better on the scout! Like it a lot ow that its got some feeling to it, artillery frigate still feels flat, could be because of the stock sections being used, not sure. New ship looks great tho, love the color scheme and the spikey armor

After my 2-3 week hiatus I'm finally back and making new ships.

So yeah, here are some ships.

Here is a large battle carrier, followed by a small frigate and a fighter.






These last two are just ships I randomly made one evening.




Thats it for now, any C&C would be appreciated.

I bet someone will make fun of the carrier for its repetition. I for one like it though. Probably the best looking of the ones in that post.

the repetition on that carrier might be a little much, but i think it blends well with the style of the ship itself.

one tiny thing i'd improve though is making a small armor band arround the front grey-yellow sections, it helps to hide those ugly holes.

Id like to say that your SW ships are pretty darn sweet, especially the first few you did. Please, don't stop.



Comments on the last few:

Repetition on he carrier is not so bad, it fits nicely, but the amount of detail it creates is a bit much. Perhaps make the 'ribs' uniformly brown, instead of brown-yellow.

The frigate and fighter are okay i guess, a bit too small to make any useful comments.

The 'egg' has very nice shape and flow, i think theres potential in that style.

Last one is rather uninteresting, to be honest - too generic and rather flat.
