I'll take advantage of this Necro since I do have a legitimate issue with the database that I was holding off on reporting on since its not really that big.

Every time I try and upload an ENC, I get:

Ship Database

Allowed extensions are .sb# .shp .enc .zip and .rar.

The file I'm trying to upload is 18 KB too(The BSG fighter encounter I had in my BSG thread). I see other ENC's there so I'm throughly baffled it both has the extension, an unused name, and the right size. Yet it still doesn't work.

Following the link in the first post http://www.wyrdysm.com/battleshipsforev ... upload.htm today gives the error:

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /battleshipsforever/shipdatabase/upload.htm on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

However, backtracking to http://www.wyrdysm.com/battleshipsforever/shipdatabase/ then choosing the "uploads" directory allows access.

So, it looks like the ship database is still there, but the upload.htm file isn't anymore...?

site got hacked a few days ago, th15 or a mod deleted the thread about it, pm him about it, and he'll probably have it fixed in no time.

I took down the upload script, it allowed people to upload whatever they liked to anywhere in the site. I'll try to get it up again if I can find a more secure uploading script.
