General History:
The area that Custom Shipworks is in is an area populated by five different species (Antican, Saipian, Antese, Sigor, and Disterns)at one point in time. About 100,000 years ago all five species lived together on the same planet. None of the groups could coexist, and fighting was prevalent. As more time went by, the species evolved and eventually expanded to other planets, then on to other galaxies. They finally were able to get far enough away that they didn't need to fight. A period of peace emerged and the seperate species moved apart, then expanded their own empires and cultures. Soon though, the five groups started fighting once again as their empires began touching again. After the Alliance treaty of 2442, fusing all species into one empire and ending the constant war, the Disterns seperated from the rest, putting many lightyears of space between themselves and the others. Problems emerged and only the Anticans and Saipians stayed in the Alliance. a series of major wars followed, ending with the bloodiest and worst war ever fought. The Antican Saipian war ended the fighting with both sides surrendering and signing The Federation act, thus creating the Allied Federation. With the Federation formed, the Federation senate tried to regain contact with the Disterns. What they found was a blood thirsty, power hungry war machine bent on destroying the AF and absorbing their territory. Four years ago the Distern war caused major casualties and just before the AF's defeat, the Disterns pulled back and disappeared. since the end of the war six months ago, the AF senate has been trying to strengthen it's defenses.

Probaki-class Battleship
Built to take on the toughest of Distern ships, the Probaki is the next step up from the Mozali. Built from the main base of the Mozali, the Probaki was upgraded in Particle Ion core then the design was lengthened and the Probaki was built from there. This ship is deadly and carries a compliment of 2 small and 2 medium fighter wings as well as it's massive arsenal.

Mozali-class Battle Cruiser
Although slightly smaller than the Reosri, the Mozali is super compact, powerful, and top of the line. Built with the newest tech. available, the Mozali can outclass, outgun and out maneuver the aging Reosri.

Reosri-class Cruiser
Originally used as fire support, it was Custom Shipworks' first ship to get a military contract. It has seen action in both the S-A war and the Distern war.The unfortunate part is because of aging tech., the ship is not very fast or manuverable.

Pandora-class Research Cruiser
Designed by Custom Shipworks and used in the final testing of the Mark VII Intergalactic Quasar Generator, it survived The Wipeout and was finally able to make it to the Custom Shipworks HQ in Qoto minor. Due to it being a research vessel it has few weapons and heavy armor. It's Scanner hubs collect any and all kinds of data imaginable, allowing it to know exactly when and where a ship will jump in before it ever does.
UPDATE: Pandora has been converted to handle combat and upgraded to add structural stability.

Rinallo-class Frigate:
Built in succesion with the Pandora, the Rinallo is built for long range missions in deep space. Able to be fully self sufficient for about six months, this ship can be very useful for recon and surveillence.

Built to pick up where the Escorts leave off, the Osiri-class corvette can take alot of damage while still packing a punch.

Made to be the defensive counterpart of the Probi class, the Atesi-class escort can take quite a beating.

Aline-class Light Fighter
Built for speed in mind, the Aline is hard to hit and packs a punch for it's size. If in large numbers, watch out! Ideal for distracting ships from the more deadly larger counterparts.

Apegi-class Medium Fighter
The bigger cousin of the Aline, the Apegi can deliver suppression fire that will distract even battle ship class vessels. Very deadly in numbers, these things are hard to take down.

Iyini-class Bomber
Built Custom tough, these bombers can deliver the goods. With two torp racks and a ion beam, these guys spell death for frigates and smaller. In large enough numbers, the Iyini can even take on the occasional destroyer.

Major Communications Satellite(MCS)
Built to be completely independent, the Major communications satellite, commonly referred to as an MCS, can run for 100 years without needing matinence. The antennae are used for not only planetary scanning, but also ship to ship communications and radar.

Auxillery Communication Satellite(ACS)
Known as the ACS, these smaller versions of the MCS scan on a smaller scale as well as amplify communications from MCS's and other ACS's.
this satellite is pretty self sufficient and provides slight defense.

Izisi-class Scout
Designed for long trips and to be able to pick up a ship 6 lightyears away,the Izisi is covered in sensors.

Since there will be a massive jump in ships built supplies are in an ever greater demand. Able to carry 140 tons of supplies at one time, the Vanis can easily fit the bill.(note: blueprint and recreation shows vanis at maximum load)

Avaji-class Heavy Refinery ship
Although its name implies it can build ships, it can't. the Avaji is designed to efortlessly carry 50 tons of molten fordge metal to the factories and shipyards. This will increase the rate of ships the shipyards can build

Iyuli-class Geavy FleetTroopship
Designed for planetary assaults, the Iyuli can carry a battalion of men and their equipment. although it won't be directly used in invasions, once a beachhead is made it can support the front lines with reinforcements.

Quevil-class Heavy Fleet Carrier
Designed with space in mind it may look overly large, but the Quevil uses all that space to make, store, and arm it's fighters. Able to carry and operate a maximum of four fighter wings and two bomber wings, only one will be needed during a battle.

LIGHT House
Built in the absence of a viable defense system, the Light Ion Galvanized Heat Trigger system uses a stream of energized ions as laser triggers. if a ship in the way, the beam will switch the trigger, sending a notification to the nearest base or satellite. only ships can trigger this trap. Cheap and easy to make, they are the perferred passive defense for quick deployments.

Hmm. Reminds me of Anna ships for some reason. I'm not sure I like the glows near the core. The wings also look odd. They remind me of flippers. The overall shape is ok. If you could build a better shape, your ship would be pretty good.

Nice ship, good section work, color's good, and glows are pretty sweet too.

My _only_ complaint I have is the default SM grid background is kinda naff. No biggie.

Actually, it is a thin version because I don't like the original, but I will use a different background on the others.
I think I'm going to redesign the wings and alter the central core glow, any suggestions?

Edit: The wings move when they aquire (can't remember spelling) a target, so I will post a picture of them closed.

I'm not sure i'm a fan of how the wings move... personally i'd prefer they collapse somehow instead of just rotating. To me when a ships geometry changes when a target is around the ship should move to look more agressive somehow, just rotating them forwards doesn't do that for me. However that's just a personal taste i guess.

Bump update. Added new version of Pandora along with Reosri, Saesri, Probi, and Rinallo to first post. C&C Welcome. Also, the new Pandora has a heavy weapon under the wings, and when fired the wing recoils. Will post video later.

The ships look just fine but Bright Red on Blue actually is irritating. Go ahead and change the backgrounds all you like, but I would avoid making the background colors brighter than the ones on the ship.

They're all different kinds of horrible crap. Why don't you just use a plain black background for taking screenshots, for fuck's sake? That's the common sense thing to do. All those other backgrounds are nasty and glaring and distract from the ships themselves.

The Vanis, Iyuli, and Quevil have a ridiculous amount of section repitition. atleast add some other sections ontop of it, although i'd reccomend exchanging the repeated sections for other somewhat similar ones in a sequence.

Ok, Xynus, I will do that. Also, thanks for posting something. I just don't know why people aren't posting anything. I know my ships are bad, but I can't do anything to them if nobody comments on them.
