un-named blue and gray ship

Archives for ships and fleets. 'nuff said. Most of the ships here are very very old and will not work in current versions of BSF or SM. You have been warned!

un-named blue and gray ship

Post by omega »

This is a ship me and 25000st decided to make. I personally think it has too many detailed sections.

Well I think it is great. It's better then anything I've made so far on that scale.

Oddly familiar;

Left: Core area of LFL Sarasvati. Right: your ship.

You're correct Arc. We decided to base some parts off of the LFL Sarasvati. There are actually more parts that I had hoped were similar. We also got some inspiration from the "Dark Ship!!!!". Remember that thread?

I slightly shifted the wings. 25000st doesn't approve of the changes but I think it looks better.

The wings could use with some work, as the sections use looks a bit like a jumbled mess.

I'd beg to differ regarding the wings. I feel that the sections under the wings shows the mechanical components that make up the ship.

Err. I understand that you want the wings different. I don't understand what you want me to change. Are you saying it has too many detailed sections?

I feel that you should keep the wings. That's all.

This is, honestly, one of the coolest ships I've ever seen

even though most of it are copied from the LFL Sarasvati you still did a good job at it.

Even though this is copied, the shape is differant. This ship is so much beafier then Eri's knifelike shape.
The blue pods don't fit the style of the ship.(the ones that as Arca showed were Eri's idea.)They have a curve while the rest of the ship is angular. Eri's ship was completly differant in that.

And I would put the engine glows under the engines not over them
