As I promissed I will enter in the BP4 with a fleet, well here it is so far.
Not much backstory yet. Will come up with that later on.
Now for the ships:
The mini carrier.
1 Double fulcan
3 light kinetic guns
3 defensive guns
1 launcher bay
Heavy fighter.
1 Fulcan
Rocket Artillery frigate.
2 Rocket pods(fold out)
1 Kinetic missile launcer(concealed)
1 Heavy defensive gun
Flak frigate.
1 Heavy frag cannon
2 light kinetic guns
2 defensive guns
Battleship.
1 Super heavy electronic discharger
3 doublebarreled heavy kinetic cannons
4 defensive guns
Bomber
1 Heavy cannon
1 defensive gun
Anti-Capitol Corvette
2 doublebarreled kinetic cannons
2 defensive guns
Will be making some cruisers/destroyers/assault craft soon.

fighter also looks interesting, but a bit too blocky for my tastes
in your battleship I noticed that there were a lot of section repeating, and to most of the senior members that seems to be bad

Thank, the asymmetry is necesarry for this ship to look good. And it makes a lot of sense.
The battleship isn't really repadative, it's just that the cannon uses only 2 differant sprites but these are made to "chain" them into a long shape so this shouldn't be a problem.
I am btw not really fond of the armament of the battleship. It has a complete lack of anti-fighter weapons.
EDIT: The red is a teamcolour. So don't say it looks like roadkill again.

Check spelling(Fulcan is a LoL, but still...)
The Carrier is the best of the ships. Maybe you should try to make most ships asymmetric? You seem to make asymmetric ones much better.
Keep up adding ships, maybe it will turn out into a nice flee. Time will tell...

Should I remove the red turret thingies on the carrier?(MG would stay.)
Is the fighter any good?
Should I ad MGs to the battleship? Or leave it as is so it needs anti-fighter support.
Is the colourscheme any good?
Any ideas for the backstory? (Names/etc.)

Yes, while it has that cobbled together look I think it suits the whole fleet very fine as being a straightforward pair of (massive) engines, cockpit and gun (Vulcan, btw) topped off by a few stabilizers.Is the fighter any good?

No, the red is a too dark. It part of problem #1 with the machineguns.Is the colourscheme any good?
The grays are fine, so far. But you might want to use a few more shades of gray to further enhance the sense of depth.
Realism, seriously? It's a space ship game. Realism was thrown out the window a long time ago.
