I was testing my pipe sections but it somehow turned into a ship-like thing.

A couple of things bug me personally, mostly how cluttered it is, but mainly it just made me head-bump the screen and say preeetty!

it seems that you simply added layer after layer...cake-ship....
Still nice design. Resembles bacteria....Just add it a tail...

You're right. I did add layer after layer. I didn't really have a general direction for the ship design because I was just testing my sections.

The ship is quite pretty, and while the section usage is clustered it doesn't seem to harm the overall image of the ship as much as I thought.

Oh, and you pulled off the sense of depth quite well.

The ship looks more like a luxury liner than a warship, because most (sensible) warships designs don't pull attention like that.

The realism critique seems silly, yet it comes up so often these days. The ship is fairly solid looking, and sticking glowing cores and such on warships has been the trend ever since the Fraxy sprites were made available.

Nice ship, very nice indeed... Though is the picture quality right? It looks blurry on my monitor, so I cannot really see the details.

I'd love to see an action shot, looks quite impressive with the glow.

Prettay spaceship, but it could use a contrast color like red, in a subtle way, like small doodads. Otherwise, hawt!

I'd consider finding a different place to upload your images.
