The UVF; The United Venus Federation C&C welcome.

Archives for ships and fleets. 'nuff said. Most of the ships here are very very old and will not work in current versions of BSF or SM. You have been warned!

The UVF; The United Venus Federation C&C welcome.

New ship. The UVF Sulfur
A small destroyer, meant to stop pirates and clean up asteroid fields. Thus her armor is incredibly thick in order to preven asteroids from smashing through and causing severe damage, but her internals are incredibly fragile, if a weapon were to pierce the armor plating she would go down in a ball of flames.

A slightly larger destroyer, with thicker armor plating and more firepower, she is the workhorse of the fleet. From engaging pirates, to more modern navies. Based on the same design as the Sulfur, her armor is incredibly thick, but her internals, only a few bulkheads seperate the armor plating from the core.

So to Honor a lost battalion, they created a Space-PedEgg with Mirroring Errors?

I updated it, and removed the mirroring error.

The yellow section on top still doesn't line up with the detailing beneath - doesn't look like you've got it exactly on centre, or it's one too many pixels too wide and so won't mirror perfectly anyway - might use a different section?

Better.

You could make the Thrusters transparent combined with the squishing. That way there not visible, and harder to hit.

As for the guns, why did you squish those, especially if there under sections?

Thanks, I'll edit the thrusters, I squish the weapons because since the ship is so small they tend to stick out.

If you're going to squish them, at least do it in both directions so they don't look so bizarre.

The weapons can be squished in both directions? Is this a new feature?

Nope. It's been there. For a long time now actually...

However, In .90, You can squish weapons and still maintain the bullets at there original size.

Not really? It's pre-CE if I recall correctly. You can either do shift-scale, or just go to the edit tab and alter the x- and y-scales.

Interesting...well besides the weapons being unusual, any other comments?

You might be misinterpreting me. Pre-CE is SM3, more specifically everything before Kaelis started mucking around with BSF's guts.

The guns of the ship make a square-ish impression.

The parenting lines are sorta distracting, but from what I see, I'd say play around with using some different shades of gray to create some sense of depth in the ship. Less blocky-looking weapons would help too.
