Nothing is forever. It can't be. 'Cause everyone changes.
Whether they want to or not, they need to change. Myself... Even you!

Was going to bump the damned thread after editing it, but ADM beat me to it. Goddamn.
I added the animated GIF of a revised version with what could best be described as a "formshield" (form-fitting energy shield). It also has two prominent fighter bays, slight modifications to the sectionwork on the prongs, a couple of spotlights on the wings and rear as well as a unified engine flame color.
I'm probably going to work on a third... fourth? generation Lunarian battlefleet based on this ship's style, so stay tuned.

One word: Ridiculous.
Also this got me thinking, many of the player made ships are better then everything i have seen in EVE and... everything else.
Edit: How did you take animated gifs of your ships?

I have noticed as well that fan made ships for various series are almost always better then the canon ships. The fan created star trek and stargate ships make the official ones look...well.....bad.ragamor wrote:One word: Ridiculous.

So its not just another one timer, but you're aiming for a whole fleet? Damn. Well... lets hope you won't get bored after just a few ships again.
Thanks for doing great gifs, but ive got one request - can you please provide a full color screenshot of the Sarasvati, without the hex shield and with fixed depthing on the first centreline turret? Id like to print this beast.
By the way, how did you do the shield? Is it just one big gif?
I started marking areas on the ship i really like, but halfway through it was already covered with red squares and unreadable...

EVE and 'everything else' is 3d, while BSF is 2d and with a farily unique 'pixel lineart' style at that. You can't compare.ragamor wrote:Also this got me thinking, many of the player made ships are better then everything i have seen in EVE and... everything else.
With the frame capture function, probably. Read the documentation.ragamor wrote:Edit: How did you take animated gifs of your ships?
