Neat ship. Really neat.
But IMO the guns get out of the concept...they are white :? And the rest of the ship is darker. Maybe you should get them covered.

Call me a traditionalist, but I like my guns to be white sprites - at least most of them. You can't see the yamato cannon or missiles though - I do cover some weapons, heh

Your BC neck and head section seem disproportioned to the main body for some reason I cannot quite fathom. Also as for laser battery placement, in the original they were placed in the head and in the new one they are on the neck. But I suppose canonically, they are mounted all over the ship.

You might want to also throw in some kind of tactical nuke weapon or misc. missile weapons for good measure too.

Well, game-wise, most of the weaponry seems to be mounted on the head of the BC, which in BSF is just a really bad idea, hence some liberty-taking in that regard.

I checked the Starcraft Wiki - apparently they are armed with some nukes for planetary bombardment, as well as acting as carriers for wings of strike craft - both functions not used in the game, presumably for balance reasons, but aspects with I would like to include later perhaps - well, maybe not the nukes...

As to proportions, the actual scaling and sizing of various parts of the ship vary a load from game to game, and between game models, concept art and cinematics - basically, I made what I thought was a decent stab at nailing it down. Admittedly I feel the neck is too long, but I decided to go with it - better a little too long than too stubby, imo. Also, the wing tip bits could be a bit chunkier and larger, but hey - I ran out of patience with the custom sections, heh :p
