There's potential to be found here. First of all, when posting ships don't bother with thumbnails.
Second, don't overarm your ships. Come up with a weapon theme and strategically place a few of them in places where the weapons don't obstruct the details of the ship.
I actually like your dark gray/dark green color scheme. Maybe brighten it up a little bit. The section use and hull shapes are good.

Ship Style
Nice style you used for your ships. It gives me ideas for how to make my fleet's special forces. Thanks! very cool style.
The colouring of your ships is pretty nice i 'll use that colouring for my project (I never thought of that!)

Those first 4 I don't like. Each successive one looks like a step in the process of building the last one.
The latest one is interesting. There may be something in there if you keep at it.

I don't agree. The progressive buildup is likely more realistic than a set of diverse hulls. If you have a design that works, don't start over. Keep building on it. If you need a hull that is more diverse for a specialty ship (like a carrier), that's fine. But in a real world situation, reinventing the wheel every time is not a great idea. Not to mention the continuity makes all of the ships easily recognizable.Slayer0019 wrote:Those first 4 I don't like. Each successive one looks like a step in the process of building the last one.

To be honest, the ships themselves are nothing too spectacular, but I wanted to comment on what I feel is one of the most cohesive fleets produced in quite some time. With the exception of the most recent ship (which is loaded with poor section choice), well done.
