I've been working on the sections... FINAL UPDATE

Archives for ships and fleets. 'nuff said. Most of the ships here are very very old and will not work in current versions of BSF or SM. You have been warned!

I disagree. The contrast makes the inverted sections "pop" more.
Like they are partial armor plating placed over exposed hull.
Whether becuase the plating got shot off, or the builders had limited supplies, it still looks good to me.

God dammit, at least give me an email or something. This is important. If you are able to post here and make ships, mailing shouldnt be a problem...

There is no way I could ever design something so epic. I am inspired, yet at the same time do not want to encroach on something so holy. Une artiste geniuse!

NOTE: My french isn't the best, so I hope I got it right.

Dan, how'd you do that TM thingy?

That's what I was going for with "I did a test(TM)" but well, what can I say? Fail was involved.

Just so that we're all clear on this, what program did you use to invert the colours? Is there anything stopping me from doing every section the same using, say, Paint?

I get the impression that there's more going on here than just straight color inverts. I could be wrong, because I really have no idea. Paint does have an invert color feature (at least in Vista). In any case, I'd recommend finding a better image editing program. You don't know how much of a favor you're doing yourself until you actually drop Paint.

Also: these ships are still fucking awesome.

Lightly, though, not nearly as much as a fraxy section. I think they'd still work if you flipped them upside down.
Also all the details are done to blend with the main color instead of using the outline color like regular bsf style.

The pack was finished. Seriously. 100% Done. 200% Dusted.

But then I saw Kae's sections and The Shipwrightizator and realised - there was a need for standardisation, and the Shipwrightivator was just thing to enforce it. So I've started putting all the sections thought the Shipwrightimangler, at present I'm about halfway through, approx 50 sections to go.

So I don't turn up completely empty handed here is the Uraki Section Pack Revision 0.2 Test Vessel. Usually when I'm making sections I'll drop them into SM to check they look ok. In most cases I end up with a slew of misplaced sections. Occasionally a ship will evolve.

This is the current status of the USPR 0.2 TV. Obviously this'll continue to evolve as more sections roll off the Shipwrightotron.

It's in the "SWA" style...

Ooooh pretty. Hard to believe that's just a mangle of parts. like the fuel rods (?) and the overall coolness of the ship. Very epic usage.
