Well done, sir! Are we going to see retractable flight pods on your rendition?

Excellent job AD, looks like this will be a picture perfect recreation. Any chance of seeing the hangar pods?

I personally think it looks pretty ugly. But, it's a fanship anyway, and it's obviously not finished. Good work so far anyway though.

Pretty accurate Galactica by the looks of things, good work on that. Gonna be pretty huge, isn't it? Well, looking forward to see your final rendition (still prefer mine though :p ).

I like it for the most part, as always your gift is in the details. The only part that really bugs me though is on the forward hull, where the section use seems pretty random. I assume thats gonna be smoothed over though so its all good.

@Wicky_42; it's actually not that large, at least not to my standards. About the same size of your first recreation.

Bumpety. Two new pics; one with flight pods extended and one with pods retracted. Pods can be moved with a single push of the button.

Looks like the best Battlestar Glactica rendition so far.

It also seems to me that you're the only shipbuilding 'veteran' that still keeps churning out good ships at a stead rate. Respect for that.

Imo it all looks a little bit too ribbed, mainly the flight pods - I'm fairly sure they are at least half covered in armour :/ otherwise, good stuff.

Any chance we get to see BSG Fighters or the Pegasus. Best BSG fan ship ever. Unfortunate that no one cares about the Cylon they got cool ships too.

You know you are the best fan ship maker I know. If a new Sci fi game, movie, series comes out and has some really cool ships that people like us drool over and wants the ships but are too noob to make them, we call you, well done. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for all the compliments, guys. I was originally planning to build a cylon basestar as well, but I'm having some RL difficulties, so that's depending on whether I'll still want to. Needless to say, this is gonna be armed and I'm gonna make vipers to launch from it.

your ships are just awesome! I would like it more if the first one was silver and more metallic

I could in theory make a mettallic version, but it's a romulan ship, after all. It's supposed to be green. What I *can* in theory do is give it colors more reminiscent of the TOS Romulan BOP. I've recently seen a rendition of a romulan (fan)ship with that color scheme and it looks a lot better than the green.

I have a good reason though. The Galactica is all but complete. All I have to do now is give it some Vipers and it's good to go.
