Honestly, i think the outer dark sections need to be under the lighter stuff.
This more creates a "Oh no, section spam for a straight line" effect.

Just a suggestion tho, but it might look nicier

In all honesty, they look a bit rubbish.

A) You have spammed section three to DEATH for those straight lines, and it really does you no favors. I also see a lot of section 22's and a lot of section 25's.

B) The coulors do not 'go' with each other.

C) The weapons are also spammed.

The good ships are the ships at the top. They aren't spammy, they look decent.

The bigger ships are just an exercise in spam, I am sorry to say.
