The glow makes it look a bit metal/rusty. Really great ship!

I think this is the only time I've seen a ship that looks better with glow on than off. :?

Colour scheme is rather dull and a touch clashing. The glow adds a nice fire-esque effect to the red sections, and washes out the awful tone of blue used for the other sections so it's not quite as bad.

I'd have to agree. That fire red is spectacular.

Wow, Clashtacular. But I suppose it isn't a total loss. Where did I put my Xmas decor?

I'd keep the red, but play around with changing the blue. also, try turning off the glow and trying to get the same effect with the options under effects if you plan to distribute this, since everyone else has glow off.

as for the shape, I like the front, but the bulge in the middle is a little ugly with the combination of curvy and strait parts, and the aft section needs work (engines maybe?). overall, it's fairly good.

Hah, this ship could easily be twice as long with the lines you've got there - if I were you I'd be looking at bulking up the engine section, bringing the ship to a proper close, The central gap looks pretty neat though - nice detailing.

And in agreement to the others, it's nice to see something look nice with the glow on - it's a pretty spectacular effect you've achieved there.
